"ATTENTION ALL DUNDER MIFFLIN EMPLOYEES, PLEASE."

Evelyn sat up upon hearing Michael's voice. "We have a meeting in the conference room A.S.A.P." She hurriedly stood up and on her tiptoes, looking over the wall at Toby. He rolled his eyes. "Think this is about the downsize?" she asked. He swirled his chair around to face her fully, sitting back tiredly. His face was void of any doubt. "Yes," he deadpanned.

She fell back onto her heels, grabbing her sweater off of the back of her seat. She could hear Toby stand along with the clipboard he usually had on his sliding out of its place. She rounded the wall with a closed lipped smile. "Ready?" she asked. He sighed, tucking his clipboard under his arm. "No."

The two left the security of their domain, joining the crowd of employees walking toward the open conference room. Her eyes met with Ryan's, then Jim's. A smile seemed to brighten up her face. "Good luck, Toby," she said, patting the man on his shoulder. He offered her his own smile, a soft laugh exhaling through his nose. "You too, Evelyn."

Jim stood to his full height, stretching out his arms. He was quick to join her near the door, flashing a goofy grin paired with a wiggle of his eyebrows. She scrunched up her nose in amusement. He followed close behind into the room and to a pair of seats left open.

She sat in the seat, her sweater sitting across her lap. Jim sat, as well, his arms resting on the arm rests of his chair. "What are we betting on today?" he asked curiously. She pursed her lips, staring hard at Michael. Jim's body instinctively shifted to the side closer to her. It was a habit he was unaware of, but the cameras zoomed in and caught him red handed. "I'm not sure today is a betting day, Jimbo."

He grimaced at the nickname, however he didn't argue. Some days were good, some days were not. He'd get that sleeve of oreos next time, though.

"Now, I know there's some rumors out there and I just kinda wanna set the record straight–"

Hurriedly, Dwight began to clear his throat and leapt from his chair. He moved to Michael's side scarily fast. "I'm the Assistant Regional Manager. I should know first," he stated. Michael shook his head, fighting back an eye roll. "Assistant to the Regional Manager," Michael corrected him while Evelyn whispered the very same thing to Jim.

His eyes danced with amusement as he turned toward the woman, a soft laugh dangling off the tip of his tongue. "Okay, um, can you just tell me, please? Just tell me quietly. Whisper it in my ear." Evelyn covered her mouth to muffle the giggles at the display between the two. Jim's head tilted enough to see her, his own smile broadening with the expression of her amusement. "I'm just about to tell everyone," Michael told Dwight.
