Max's POV:
I was making popcorn and setting up snacks in the living room. Why? I had invited y/n over to watch a scary movie. I have had the biggest crush on y/n ever since we met in 7th grade. So I thought if I invited her over to watch a movie. We could spend more time together. Plus y/n had mixed feelings about scary scary movies some were scary some were not. Which if they were really 'scary' movies, y/n would like to cuddle and bury her head in my chest. Which would give me a bunch of butterflies. I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard a knock on the door.

"Y/n!" I said embracing her in a big hug. "Hey." She said excitedly. "Come in. I made popcorn and oh I'm picking the movie." I said with a smile. "Oh no this can go really good or really bad." She said laughing. Her laugh. Her smile. Everything about her was so memorizing. I watched as she sat on the couch as I looked through my bin filled with films. I picked out "Halloween." ( this movie isn't even that scary by just pretend like it is so I can make y/n scared ) I walked back to the couch. Put the movie In and sat down next to y/n. As the movie was going on I felt something touch my hand. I looked down to see y/n's hand on mine. I blushed as I continued to watch the movie. I thought that y/n would be scared of this movie I thought. Right until y/n dug her head in my shoulder. I smiled down at her as I hugged her. "It's okay. Your safe with me." I said giggling. "what do you mean? Psh I'm not scared." Y/n said trying to act like she wasn't scared. Y/n and I were both looking at each other. We slowly started to lean in. Our lips connected as we both started to lean even more into this kiss. I pulled back in need for some air. "This has probably been the best movie night ever." I heard y/n say as I looked back up and smiled.
