When I got out of my car, I looked at the house in front of me. It was pretty big and really nice, which didn't shock me as much as I thought just because I kind of figured Arianna made enough money to afford something this nice.

She smiles at me once she got out of her car and walked towards her. I looked back at her house before following her to the front door, which my eyes were stuck on the house and the neighborhood she lived in.

It was nice and quiet with a lot of nice houses and car in the driveway.

But she did live in the city, so it was more fancier than the town I lived in and a lot more expensive.

After my therapy session, she invited me over to her house. I was a little unsure about it and she quickly changed her mind before asking if I wanted to and I was hestitant but agreed to it.

It was time to let myself open up a little more around this woman, just to see where it'll go and try to understand a little more on myself and why I've been the way I've been for the last several years.

When I had a breakthrough over my mom passing and figuring out that the reason I've been dealing with some of my depression and all the other things, I came to realize that I needed to take more steps to learn about myself.

It was going to take time but I knew Arianna was going to be here every step of the way and that made me want to keep pushing.

Plus doing it for myself and my mom.

She was watching me.

I had to keep that in mind.

When she unlocked the door, I walked in behind her and as I closed the door and turned around, that's when I knew this house wasn't just pretty on the outside.

It was gorgeous in the inside.

I'm not much of a person that admires interior designs but this house was making me speechless.

The color and the walls, plus the way the floors tied everything together and the way it was designed had me in completely awe.

We walked into the kitchen and she placed her purse down with her keys then looks over at me. "You want something to drink?" I nod and she smiled before walking to the fridge and grabbing a drink out.

Once she handed it to me, I looked around before looking over at her. "Can I ask you something?"

She nods. "Of course."

"How did you come up with the design for this house and did you?"

She smiles before looking around. "So, I didn't design the house but I did change a lot of things inside. Like the flooring and walls. I changed it all cause the original design was trash."

Nodding, I was impressed as I looked around and liked how the kitchen was light. It had a nice light color to the walls and the marble flooring was pretty damn cool.

"You seem to really like my house." She smiles once my eyes met hers.

"It's just nice."

She nods before looking around then grabbing a drink from the fridge. I watch her for a moment before looking around more and seeing the different pictures on the walls that were hung in the hall.

After a moment, she asks me if I want to go into the living room. I follow her and we both sit on the couch, then my eyes roam around the living room and admire all the things that were hanging up on the walls or how the tv was mounted on the wall and a fireplace underneath it.

There was huge bookshelf on the right side in the corner near a window. I let my eyes linger there for a moment as I looked up and saw a ceiling fan up above then looked over to the left where you could see upstairs with a short hallway and three doors.

When I looked back down at her, she was looking at me with an amused look on her face. "I have never seen you this observant before."

I shrug then lean back before seeing her lean over and pat my leg, which made me look down at her hand.

"I didn't mean it in a bad way, Morgan. I like that you're being more open with yourself and letting me see sides of you that I never seen."

I look at her as she was smiling before she moves her hand and leans back. I nod before taking a sip of my drink and looking around the room before seeing the tv turn on.

She had a remote in her hand before looking at me. "You want to watch something? I have Netflix and Disney plus."

"Anything is fine. I'm not a huge tv person but it's fine."

"We can talk or watch tv."

Looking at the tv, my eyes glanced down at the sliding doors that were underneath the tv but to the left. I saw a small area outside with a pool and I stared at it for a moment before looking back at the tv.

When she turned on something random, I watched it for a moment before becoming bored and looking around a little more.

My eyes glanced over at her as she was watching tv. I let my eyes travel down and saw her leg propped on the couch and underneath her as she was holding her drink in her hands.

Then she looked over at me and caught me staring, which she smiles but all I did was look away and back at the tv for a moment.

I wasn't sure what was on but it really didn't interest me enough to keep my eyes on the screen, so I looked around more than watch tv.

That's when I caught her watching me.

Looking at her, I saw her smile. "Um.. can I ask you something and I don't want this to come off as rude but I'm just curious."

"Ok."

"I'm guessing it's just your personality but you seem to smile a lot. More than I've ever seen someone smile before but like I said.. I guess it's just your personality."

She nods before smiling. "Yeah, I normally don't smile this much.. trust me. I have a bad habit of having a resting bitch face and people think I'm pissed all the time." She chuckles.

I slowly nod as I look at her. "So.. you don't normally smile this much?"

She looks at me before smiling and looking away. "Right.. it's just cause.. of you. I guess. I mean.. you give off this amazing energy and I feel happier when I'm around you."

That made me stare at her for a moment before hearing my phone start ringing.

When I took it out of my pocket, I saw Haley's name on my screen. I knew what was coming cause I forgot to tell her I was coming over to Arianna's house, so this should be fun.

"Hello?"

"Morgan? Where are you?"

I look at Arianna as she was looking at me and I look away. "Um.. Arianna's house."

It was silent for a moment.

"Your girlfriend?"

"Not.. No. But I'm here. I forgot to tell you."

"Ok.. just make sure you let me know next time. You had me worried."

"I'm sorry." I sighed.

"It's ok. I love you."

"Love you too."

We hung up afterwards and I look over at her as she was watching me. "Who was that? Your sister?"

"Yeah.. I forgot to tell her I was coming over here."

"She's ok with it?"

"Of course. She knows about us.. you. So she's ok."

She nods before looking back at the tv and I stare at her for a moment before looking over at the tv as well, watching what was on before seeing her out of the corner of my eye.

It was actually nice sitting here with her and not really talking or doing much.

I always thought being with someone would consist of talking and pouring feelings out to each other but Arianna isn't like that.

It made me wonder if it's because she's a therapist or because she respects me enough not to talk when I didn't want to.

But sitting there with her, watching tv and not saying anything, made me actually look forward to whatever was in store for us.
