Steven obviously hates violence
Make no mistake, though, he will throw a punch to keep you safe if needed (like we've seen him do to that jackal)
But what he wishes he had from Marc isn't his ability to fight
It's his confidence
The way he can ask someone out without stuttering, make people respect him with his simple presence
It's crazy because they literally have the same face and body, but Marc is the more imposing one
The "bloody handsome" one
It's just something in the way he stands and looks at people, like he's not afraid of anything because he knows he's up for any challenge
Steven is more than capable of taking on challenges, too, but he's the kind of guy who doesn't really know it until he's facing a situation where he has to
He really likes it whenever you call him sweet and kind, because he wants to be sweet to you
But he wonders sometimes if you see him as a strong man, who you trust to protect you in every way
He wants to be that, too
He wants to be everything you need
Marc, on the other hand, is not that insecure
At least not in the same sense
He trust his own abilities, he knows he's physically strong and determined enough to do whatever needs to be done
And when it comes to relationships, unlike Steven, he's well aware of his appeal and is insanely skilled at flirting
What he struggles with is being open about his feelings and his past, and now that he's committing himself to you that's becoming a bit of a problem
Being honest and sweet doesn't come as easily to him as it does for Steven
And he's afraid sometimes that you don't feel as loved by him as you would with Steven because he doesn't always know how to show it
Especially on those bad days when he feels "unworthy of love" like Harrow pointed out with tragic accuracy
But at the end of the day they both have the qualities of the other they think they don't, it just takes a while and some help from each other and you to bring them to the surface
