Societal Standards

Our society set standards and criteria how to be the best. And when we start to see these standards as our basis for achieving the best quality of life and later on found ourselves to be unqualified, we start questioning our own qualities and abilities. What's worst is that we see ourselves as worthless turning us to become anxious and depressed.

To deal with it is to stop looking at these standards as your basis for being the best person you can be. Stop looking at these criterias to have the best of all abilities. Stop following what the society says and start identifying those abilities you are good at. Improve and enhance.

We live in a generation where following what's usual is the only way to keep ourselves from becoming the world-class and having a different ability seems to be abnormal but in fact it is something we should be proud of.

Sometimes it's okay to be different from what's norm. Because being different can even help you to stand out in the crowd. You just have to learn how to mold and develop it.

If you are good at cooking and bad at public speaking, try to focus and master your cooking skills instead of your public speaking. Even if the majority is good and passionate in the latter, pursue where and what you are good at. Trying to be someone you are not can only result to  unproductivity.

Remember that success comes from the moment you start appreciating yourself and the abilities you have because that's the time you realized  that part of the elements of success is to strengthen yourself by identifying and molding what you are passionate about.
