Progress
There's a progress of individual's spirituality. Some might be visible but mostly it can't be seen. Whether it can be seen by many or not, to be praised by many for your progress doesn't really matter because what's important is we've done it wholeheartedly.
Remember, to practice religion is a step by step process.
