Masjid in NK
Once I encountered online one of the most famous communist country as they say, North Korea. I was really curious what it's like to be there.
Those people who visited NK said they can't use any mobile phone upon entering the country. And there were many prohibitions for a foreign people like them.
And this searching led me into a question, "are there Muslims in NK?"
Well, there are Muslims. But I'm not sure if there are North Korean Muslims. In fact I found a vlogger, an Indonesian Muslim living in NK and he captured his daily life in NK secretly. Some research I found was that there was a Masjid in NK.
And I found this picture. The Rahman Mosque Located in Pyongyang, North Korea.
So I guess, there are false information as to others claim that other religions cannot live in North Korea. Well, pertaining to the question "are there north korean Muslims?", I guess maybe there is but as of my research there were no NK Muslims. Though there's a claim to them that the government promotes a freedom of religion despite that NK is an atheist state.
