Whispering voices had began to grow louder within the attic of St. Anne's Church, where Davina lay in her bed. She thrashed restlessly as the sound became unbearable and she was disturbed by the sensation of magic, causing her to jerk awake and sit up.
"Marcel. Something's coming." She whispered to herself as she rose from her bed, making her way toward her easel. She drew madly upon the paper as visions of Katie preforming her spell clouded her mind.
She stopped after a moment, allowing the charcoal to fall from her grip. "Magic."

Back at The Abattoir, Marcel had pulled Thierry into a corner so they could discuss, away from prying eyes.
Marcel was furious, and it was clear in his body language as he spoke to his friend. "I want to hear your side of it."
"Hey, Marcel, come on-" Thierry was upset at the severity of Marcels actions, he knew he was not immune to punishment and that he was not above any one else, but as Marcels right hand man he did not believe he would be subject to judge, jury and executioner.
"Your version. Go." He cut him off.
"We were tossing the Cauldron - like you asked. This guy, some nightwalker, he attacked Katie for no reason."
"His name was Max. I turned him, and as far as reasons go, he doesn't need one. She was a witch. He was a vampire. Now? He's dead." Marcel snapped.
Thierry pleaded desperately. "I didn't mean for it to happen."
"You broke my most important rule." Marcel sighed, glaring at him. "Damn it, T. How long we been friends? Seventy years? I turned you into something that would never die. I gave you a gift."
"And I have been loyal to you all this time, and I still am. I'm still your friend, Marcel. I swear, that hasn't changed."
Cami watched from afar, noting Marcels short temper and body language - as Klaus watched her.
"Are you all right, love?" He spoke up, stepping beside the girl.
"He's got a temper, doesn't he? I guess this is the moment I remember I know better." A sad look riddled her face as she walked away. Klaus was about to step after her when he acknowledged Josh's presence.
Klaus reached into his blazers inner pocket, withdrawing a folded piece of paper and handing it to the new vampire. Josh quickly hid the evidence before walking towards Marcel.
"We found this at his girl's place." Josh spoke solemnly.
Marcel unraveled the paper, revealing a delicate parchment, decorated with the components of a complicated spell. Marcels anger grew as he became familiar with the spell.
"Still my friend, huh? That's funny, because it looks to me like that little witch of yours got her hands on a spell that I keep locked away."
Thierry became frantic. "Marcel, I have never seen that."
"Shut up. I see on your hand, you still have the daylight ring I gave you." Thierry glanced at his ring before looking back at his friend "So, what would you need with the recipe for making new ones? Unless maybe you and Katie were gonna go off and start a little kingdom of your own?"
"Marcel, no!"
"Here's a lesson in friendship-- friends don't lie to me, they don't break my rules, and they do not steal what is mine." Marcel took a step back as he realised he had lost his temper and that they were not alone.
He took a deep breath before shaking his head in disbelief. "For the crime of murdering one of his own, I sentence Thierry Vanchure to one hundred years in the Garden."
A rotten smirk spread across Klaus face, as he watched the pieces fall into place. "And it begins..."

Georgia stood outside of the mausoleum as she gathered the last of what she needed for her spell; a map, a bottle of black sand and a pocket watch which she would use to cast her locator spell. Her silence was interrupted by the creak of the large cast iron gate as Rebekah made her entrance.
"You're doing the right thing. It's the only way to find Elijah." Rebekah had noticed the girls anxious features and trembling hands.
Georgia shook her head. "I'm not doing this for your family"
Rebekah began to speak but held herself back as the girl began her incantation.
Klaus watched from the window as Marcels men lead Thierry from the party and out onto the street, where a small group of vampires had gathered. They were all taken by surprise as Katie began making her way up the street, chanting.
"Katie, no!" Thierry called out desperately but she did not heed his warnings.
"Like clockwork." Klaus muttered to himself quietly.
The vampires ducked and shielded them selves as Katie's power caused the lights within the street to blow. Marcel alone stood to face Katie as she used her magic to subdue the others, but with the wave of her hand, he too fell.
Rebekah watched anxiously as Georgia chanted and the grains of sand moved around upon the map.
Marcel rose again, falling once again as Katie broke his bones. From the church, Davina gave Marcel the strength he needed to stand once again, as a mix of fear and astonishment crept its way onto Katie's face as she realised she was losing.
"You're here to save your man. Well, come on, little girl!" Marcel growled as he ran at the girl, but she held him at bay with her magic, Davina fell to her knees as Marcel did, worn out by channelling him.
Katie lifted a wooden stake above Marcel's head "Die, you son of a bitch."
"No! Katie! Don't!" Thierry watched in horror, unable to stop her. But before Katie can do the unthinkable, Klaus swept in, snapping her neck and allowing her limp body to fall to the floor carelessly.
Georgia stopped as she sensed Katie's magic fade. "Something's wrong. Her magic stopped. I can keep going."
"You can't. She'll sense it." Rebekah shook her head.
"No. I can find them. I just need time." Georgia began to refocus as Rebekah grabbed the map, throwing it aside.
Georgia stuttered, unable to find the words."I rather like you, and it appears my brother does as-well and I'd rather not see you strung up on bourbon street like a prize. It's over. We failed."
Under the disguise of all of the commotion, Thierry crawled towards Katie's body, cradling her in his arms. "No. Katie. No, no, no, no."
Marcel glanced towards Klaus as the pair watched the heartbroken man, Klaus smiled at his nod of appreciation, knowing he had won.
