CHAPTER 22
[ New Orleans, 2011 ]

Georgia awoke the next morning, the troubles of the days and weeks before momentarily forgotten as she climbed out of bed. She stretched and yawned as she opened her bedroom door before her heart dropped to her stomach at the sight of a well dressed man on her couch. "God I forgot you were here"

Elijah barely glanced at her, he was still sat at the coffee table, surrounded in Davina's sketches as he had been the night before. "Im beginning to wonder if these represent some kind of premonition. They seem to suggest something is coming. Something sinister."

Georgia sighed as she sat beside him. "I really hope not. All I want is just one normal day"

Elijah suddenly began to arrange the drawings in a way that they no longer looked like a pile of black and white shapes, as facial features began to take shape as well as a mess of dark curls.

"Oh my god..." Elijah stared at the pages in disbelief as his past love stared back at him. "You don't think... Elijah's she's dead."

He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as he shook his head. "You witches have a habit of bending the laws of nature"

"What the hell is he doing here?" Both of their heads shot up at the familiar voice. Davina was stood in the doorway of her room, her arms crossed and her features murderous.

"Davina.. I know you're going through a lot but- we need your help"

"What happened to girls sticking together, G?" She raised an eyebrow as her sister struggled to reply. Georgia hadn't pictured their first morning together going this way and neither had Davina. She felt betrayed, Georgia had promised she was her own person and that the originals had no influence in her life. Yet here she was once again, helping them out of a hole.

"Look I meant that- but why did you draw these?"

The young girl shook her head as she made her way to the kitchen. Elijah stood to follow her, but Georgia quickly held him back. "Let me okay? You fit the rest of the drawings"

Elijah nodded as he sat again while Georgia followed Davina to the kitchen. "...vina"

"I can't believe you! After what he did to me?" Davina scoffed as she filled a glass of water, refusing to look her sister in the eye.

"He offered to keep an eye on you while I slept. Look I'm sorry but he's not the one you have to worry about" Georgia leant against the counter, keeping her space from the all powerful witch with raging hormones.

Davina laughed. "Of course you would say that"

Georgia brushed the comment off. "It doesn't matter Davina.. why did you draw those?"
