CHAPTER 47
[ New Orleans, 2012 ]Davina and Kol were in the midst of performing a spell, a protective measure in order to preserve Georgias body and mind - if worst came to worst. "Protéger sa scandalum subsisto...Se pa toi inquia subsisto l'écoulement...Subsisto venenatis impedit l'écoulement."
"It's finished, but what if it's not enough to protect Georgia's body from Esther's magic?" Davina sighed, running a hand through her hair.
"I might know a way to distract you from your troubled mind?" Kol smirked, wrapping his arms around her waist as Davina laughed softly.
Marcel entered the room, glaring at Kol. "You can take this seriously, or I can lock you in a coffin like your brother Finn, if you prefer."
"No. No, I'd prefer you to bugger off, because this spell needs time to cook in peace." Kol quipped.
"Georgia doesn't have time. Esther can jump anybody into her body right now." Davina stepped back from them, watching as they argued.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, but she's not going to jump anybody. She's going to jump Rebekah, who just happens to be miles away. But, fair dues, Marcel, I think I'd be a bit testy, too, if my old ex was about to jump into my new ex. I think that would be a bit, uh..."
"Cut it out Kol" Georgia sighed, entering the room and sitting down on the couch. "We all know it's awkward"
"I was going to say kinky, but..." he laughed, but it was short lived as Marcel rushed at him, grabbing him by the shirt.
Georgia was quick to intervene, pulling Marcel from the witch and into the next room. "What is wrong with you?"
"You saw him! He-"
"No you're purposely picking fights Marcel! I don't want to spend possibly my last few hours, stopping you two from murdering eachother!" She shook her head, beginning to leave the study when she was caught by Marcels words.
"Yeah, You'd rather be with Elijah right?"
Georgia scoffed, turning to him. "So that's what this is about?"
"Well maybe if you hadn't lied to me-"
"Lied to you?" She laughed. "When did I lie to you?"
"Yesterday, helping Klaus with witch business?" He chuckled, but not in his usual light-hearted way, it harboured hatred. "You came to see him"
"And what if I did?" She raised an eyebrow. "We're not dating anymore. I can see whoever I want"
"Well maybe I don't want you to." He frowned, looking at her. Georgia had never seen him so emotionally vulnerable.
She sighed, shaking her head. "Marcel I made myself clear, I don't want a relationship"
"Yeah with me... If Elijah Mikaelson showed you the slightest bit of attention - you'd probably marry the guy" he scoffed, turning away from her to hide his anger.
She laughed. "How delusional are you? I missed him, we were friends. I think you're getting Elijah and I confused with you and Rebekah"
His face fell. "We both know that if she came back right now, I'd be long gone"
"And so would I, if Elijah cared enough about you to do anything about it. But he doesn't. His family will always come first - don't say I didn't warn you" Georgias expression turned cold, shaking her head.
"This is over. Whatever this was"
"G..."
"No, all of it. I can't even look at you. It's all making sense, the whole Gia thing - you wanted him to fall for her, to stop looking at me. It's possessive Marcel, I don't like it."
