Hayley sat beside the swimming pool, wrapped in a towel. Rebekah stood beside her, checking her temperature regularly, while Elijah assisted Sophie in helping with the herbs. He shrugged off his jacket, rolling up his sleeps before stepping towards Rebekah and the thermometer.
"She's burning up! We need to do this now." He demanded, Georgia stood idly watching chaos around her.
"Get her in the water!" Sophie ordered and Elijah jumped into the pool, turning to help Hayley in. Sophie glanced towards the younger witch as she mixed the aid in a small cup.
Rebekah sighed frustratedly. "I don't see how a midnight swim is supposed to help."
"Her temperature is sky-high. The water, with the help of the herbs, should cool us down. Georgias protection spell has protected the baby but Hayley and I will still suffer the events of the hex." She handed Hayley the herbal concoction and gestured for her to drink.
"You're going to have to get her heart rate down." Georgia looked at the suited man and he glanced back, a surprised look playing upon his features.
"How do you suggest I do that?" He raised an eyebrow as Georgia began to speak.
"Hold her. It's a natural human remedy to slow the heart rate and reduce blood pressure." Sophie butted in, getting the pool as-well.
"This is never gonna work." Rebekah rolled her eyes, glancing towards Georgia, watching the bitterness in her eyes fade away as Elijah picked up Hayley bridal style within the pool.
"Davina will break the link, we just need time." Elijah once again glanced towards Georgia, this time she nodded, deciding having faith in her sister was an easier option than arguing with the worlds most stubborn man.
Hayley clung to Elijah, groaning as she gasped for a breath. Davina was sitting on her bed in her room, studying the spell intently. She stared at the sanguinum knot on her vanity, and after a moment, she stood, walking over to it. She picked up the knot with both hands and inhaled sharply before she began the spell.
"Phesmatos omnio legares cordate..." Hayley began hyperventilating within Elijah's arms.
"I can't breathe!" She choked out, still gasping for breath. Rebekah refused to watch, staring at the patterns of the water while Georgia's eyes remained glued on the pair.
"Okay, long deep breaths, Hayley! Look at me. Long deep breaths, just focus on the sound of my voice."he focused his gaze on hers, lowering his voice to a hushed whisper. "You'll be okay. You'll be okay."
"Phesmatos omnio legares cordate sangorium." The clock within Davina's room chimed as it hit 9pm. Hayley cried out in pain, thrashing in Elijah's strong hold, as the knot within Davina's hands began to float in the air - untying itself.
Georgia shook her head, sighing and beginning to walk away when Rebekah grabbed her arm. "Wait i think it's working"
Sophie began to gasp as the spell began to lift, while Hayley continued to groan in pain. The knot unraveled it self completely, leaving Davina smiling with glee.
