- "hello Carina?"

- "good morning lieutenant Decker"

- "Carina can you come to the station please?"

- "yes, no worries. When?"

- "as soon as possible"

- "I can be there in twenty minutes"

- "perfect. Ask me at the reception".

[End of telephone conversation]

Carina was eating with her friends and colleagues. She excused herself and went to the police station to meet with Lieutenant Decker.

She went to the reception desk and asked for Chloe, who arrived very quickly.
She led her into a closed office.

-"You look very serious." Said the Italian

-"Carina, I'm going to show you some images... These are surveillance camera videos. I'm not going to show you everything, but you should know that we have hours and hours of video."

-"I am afraid..."

-"Carina... I just want to tell you that I'm glad, that nothing ever happened to you."

- "how..." She had been cut off by Lieutenant Decker's launch of the video.

Hours and hours of videos of Charles and Lane following the two women, each in turn. Posing as hospital cleaners, Charles sometimes as a nurse. Following them in the street, watching them downstairs, disguised as homeless people. Carina had only seen Lane once at the firehouse and that was probably why she hadn't paid much attention.

-"We think the purpose was to hurt both of you. Hence the intervention of Mr. Percy the other night at the bar. Several days since the attack he was camped outside your house... Hoping to see you back home".

- "so finally... I did the right thing staying in the hospital?!"

- "absolutely"

- "I was sure I wasn't crazy!"

- "how so?"

-"My friends didn't believe me the other night at the bar... They thought my mind was playing tricks on me, that I was desperate to find the culprit... Thank you for believing in me".

- "so a warrant will be issued for his arrest?"

-"It has already been issued... I just need your confirmation, we're going to do the same as Lane. After we don't know exactly who did what in this story so we're going to question them, make it clear that the other one is there... That the other one has spoken... See if tongues are loosened..."

- "Is he here?!"

-"Yes, he is in custody. We apprehended him this morning, and the prints from his shoes match the marks found next to Maya's... From Maya. As was the case with Mr. Bishop."
