The constellations shine with a light emitted thousands of years ago, and I am waiting for inspiration. I wait for the words of the poet that will illuminate the mysteries of existence. But nothing comes.

Friday morning had finally dawned. The sun was out and it was finally nine o'clock. Maya would be picking up Carina in a few minutes. They had finally gotten some sleep last night. The Italian had given birth to several newborns, including placenta previa, with the help of Jo, to train her and Maya had had two not too serious procedures.

The brunette took a coffee on the square of the hospital with Ashley when the car had made its appearance in her field of vision. Her face was then illuminated.

- "I'm guessing your fiancée is here, the way your eyes and smile have widened!"

- "yes" said the obstetrical chief in her thoughts, lovingly.

- "so Vancouver?"

- "yeah, I don't know what she has planned, but she's always doing special stuff."

- "she got her memory back?"

-"most of" Carina didn't know how accurate she could be with this information.

Maya had parked at the end of the driveway.

-"I'll let you go, I don't want to keep her waiting."

- "Thank you Ashley, good luck today. It was great having coffee with you."

- "me too Dr. DeLuca."

- "it's Carina, I told you that already"

- "sorry Carina, have a nice weekend with your fiancée"

-"Thank you bella" she said, putting her hand on her forearm before taking leave of the brunette.

She had gone to the car and the captain had come down to open the door for her. Before she got in, she had put her arm around the blonde's shoulders and kissed her as if they had not seen each other for three days.

- "Hello, wife" whispered the firefighter against her lips

- "the day is always good when I spend it with my wife"

- "Go climb in there before I get caught up in a passion for you on that forecourt"

- "it's very tempting"

She had finally gotten into the car and Maya had gone around to sit in the driver's seat.
After having moved a few meters, they had mechanically intertwined their fingers, to tell each other about the end of their shift. Or at least it had started, because they had quickly arrived home.

- "well we make our bags we take a shower and we take the road" made the blonde while going up the stairs, the brunette on her heels.

- "hum hum perfect"

The captain had opened the door and had let her wife pass. Once the door was closed, Carina had pressed her against it and had taken possession of her lips like in front of the hospital a few minutes earlier.

- "Carina...." Had said Maya between envy and despair at having her schedule cut short.

- "and if we start with the shower..." She asked as she lowered her lips to her neck.

- "Carina DeLuca-Bishop why am I making a schedule when I'm married to you?"

- "to break this schedule"
