She is right that I am evasive. On days like today, when only her memory is gone, I am vague in my answers, because I have often hurt my wife unintentionally in the last few years by making a slip of the tongue, and I am determined not to let that happen again. So I limit myself to answering her questions, sometimes not too well, and I don't tell her anything spontaneously.

On the 17th of February Carina had been invited to a party organized by the hospital, she could come accompanied. It was the anniversary of Grey Sloan, the opening of the hospital when it was still called Seattle Grace. It was celebrating its hundredth birthday.
Thus, doctors, nurses, nurses' aides, manipulators, or hospital staff from the offices or the household, who had always worked here, had been invited. This was quite a lot of people. Of course, not all of them were able to respond favorably to this invitation. But the refectory room, changed into a reception room, for one day and one evening, was packed. Not less than 300 people had come in addition to the current employees.
Maya was there because she was with Carina, and at that moment, she regretted that Dean could not have succeeded in dating Maggie and that Vic was no longer with Jackson, she would have felt less alone.
The commemoration took place all day and all evening to allow all the hospital staff on duty to come to the celebration.
The blonde and the brunette had been there at the beginning of the evening. It was already nine o'clock.
A few minutes earlier, Maya had joined at first her fiancée in her office, to then go down together to the refectory.
They had wanted both to opt for a trouser suit, but the Italian had said to herself that she already came every day in suit, or at least in trouser suit, and that for the occasion she would have put herself well in dress. She had thus changed at the last moment by preparing her bag in the early morning and had taken along a different dress without preventing her companion.
She also wanted to make her the surprise.
/A few minutes earlier/
Someone had knocked on the door. Having seen the time, the gynecologist suspected that it must be her fiancée.
-"Come in," she gestured toward the door, while sitting at her desk, her white 'Dr. DeLuca - Chief of Obstetrics' gown closed, glasses over her eyes, hair three-quarters to the side.
- "what a vision" Maya grinned with a huge smile on her lips, both hands over her heart. "Do you wear glasses?"
-"not at home. When I read for three hours a study or reports... It's more comfortable for the eyes."
- "anyway, it's super sexy on you" replied the captain as she approached.
"Do you have our clothes?"
-"Yes, in the bag there" she nodded. Before getting up herself. "I took a little advance" she added while rising and going in her turn to meet the blonde.
The legs of the brunette, naked, had questioned the firefighter who had approached to kiss her.
While caressing her of her lips, she had begun to pass her fingers along the buttons of the blouse of the doctor.
- "What are you trying to do?" Carina had asked, stepping back and raising an eyebrow
- "you don't look very dressed underneath..."
- "Maya do you really think I'd be naked under my blouse while I'm at work?"
- "knowing that I was coming... Why not ..."
- "and I am insatiable?..."
- "so you're dressed?"
- "Go ahead and open..."
