Maya had come home from work after a twenty four hour shift and Carina was in the living room she was wearing only underwear and her silk dress.

- "happy wedding anniversary my love" in front of her wife's face her smile had faded.

"Did you forget?"

Maya had then opened her coat, there was a rose in the inside pocket, and a jeweler's bag hanging on the other side.

The blonde had taken off her coat, she had put the pouch on the dining room table before walking with her rose towards her wife.

- "arrancini and for dessert from Cannoli"

"Are you coming to the shower with me?"

Maya had lifted Carina up with one of her arms behind her knees and the other behind her back.

"Maya! Stop it, I'm too heavy!"

She had carried her to the bathroom and as she passed their bed, a package called out to her.

"What's this?"

- "your gift for our two-year wedding anniversary.... This is what I ordered the other night."

- "you want to open it?"
