Maya's day out was fast approaching and she had asked Carina if they could meet outside.
Carina said yes. They were having coffee outside. Their little ritual.

-"I'm getting out in two days, I can't stand being in this hospital anymore" and seeing Carina's face turn sad she added "you are the only positive thing here. But I feel like I've been here for a thousand years."

'5 months and 21 days... We should have been married 10 days ago' thought Carina. But instead she said: "I'm going to miss you".

- "but you said we could meet outside..."

- "yes, but I used to see you almost every day"

-"You know I'm still off work... And I have to come every other day, for my rehab"

- "yes it is on..."

- "by the way... Would you give me your number?"

It hadn't clicked for Carina, but Maya didn't have her number, unlike her.
Of course the blonde had stolen the professional number of the brunette, the time she had had the Grey Sloan tablet in her hands... But she had never dared to use it.

- "oh yes, excuse me... I saw you here every day, I didn't think about it"

Maya had handed her phone to the brunette and put it on the keyboard page. She entered her number and gave her back the mobile.

- "wait I'll page you..."

- "no!" Fit Carina, knowing full well that she, she had Maya's number, under 'bambina'. "You'll text me when we're done..." She had made up for it.

While they were talking, Ashley and Candy went out for a coffee.
