Maya had not remembered what had happened, in full, on New Year's Eve. She suspected that she had spent the evening dancing and sleeping with Carina, but she didn't know that she had called Carina several times, by the nickname she had given her before the attack, or that she had spoken to her vaguely about the past. She didn't even remember having made a mini declaration to the Italian, in the bathroom, telling her that she was crazy about her.

They continued to see each other, but still hadn't talked about them. She was working hard to get back in shape. Still going to Grey Sloan regularly for physical therapy. And then there was a great distraction there... That's why she didn't want to go to a private practice. Here she could see Carina.

Maya was going to start training a little more intensively in two days. That is, a month after her release from the hospital.
