She had gone to the shower and once they were both ready, they drove away. It wasn't a long drive to the first stop. Carina had looked at her worried fiancée.

- "Maya what are we doing in court?"

- "twice yesterday you mentioned it and I can't get it out of my head. Carina, marry me, marry me today"

- "what?"

- "marry me today Carina"

- "but what about our families and our friends, and Ben and Vic's parents' restaurant..."

- "we're keeping this marriage. But... Marry me today, in secret, become my wife amore."

- "but, we need an appointment and..."

-"We have an appointment at ten thirty, someone here wanted to do me a favor. Marry me" made it by leaning over the armrest between the two seats to come and kiss the Italian. "Marry me" she repeated against her lips before joining their mouths together. "Marry me" made her again against her lips, by detaching them.

-"Yes," said the brunette with tears in her eyes.

- "yes?!" Asked she slightly unglued their faces a huge smile on her lips and wet eyes in turn.

- "I've been waiting to marry you for months Bambina"

- "Stay there!" Maya said as she got out of the car while looking at her fiancée. She had walked around the car to come and open the door for her. "Doctor DeLuca" she said, holding out her hand.

- "You're crazy" she laughed as she took her hand

- "of you, squarely" answered she by pulling the arm of the brunette so that they find themselves the one against the other.

-"I love you fidanzata"

- "I love you my soon-to-be wife"

The two women had walked up the steps of the courthouse to enter the building.
They had gone directly to the right part of the building and Maya had asked Carina to wait and had gone to see a little lady, of a certain age, sitting behind a desk.

The woman had then stood up and walked around the desk to come and hug the captain. She was not very tall and the blonde had to bend down to return her embrace.
Then Maya had returned to Carina's level.

- "Should I be worried about you hugging strangers? "

- "her name is Felicia, we saved her house from a fire a few weeks ago and I personally went up a tree to get her cat. She told me that if I ever needed to come to the court, she knew a lot of people, she worked there all her life, and she gave me her number. And yesterday I thought about it... And we can get married in court... So this morning I called and she could get us a place at ten thirty"

- "yes but the documents and ..."

-"Carina, you won't mind, but I went through your things, I had to send her your work certificate, your ID and some other papers. We will be married at 10:30 and we will have our official document when we leave. But we won't have our family booklet for a few days. She is not a magician either."

-"I love you" she said, looking at her more in love than ever "forever"

- "I hope so because it's about to become official"
