Saphira stood in the shower, letting the warm water run down her abused body. It was soothing on her skin, her muscles felt relaxed even though they were aching. She had been in the shower for well over an hour now, she had already washed her hair and scrubbed her skin to get as much filth off her body as possible. Now, she simply stood there, she had let some tears fall that washed away with the shower water. She was grateful she could do this, she remembered how rare it was to even have a shower when she lived in the same house as her father and step family. At least she had some changes of clothes. That was the next thing. She hoped Jack would be able to tell her that she had the job, as the security measures the silo had blocked communication for her as well to be contacted by potential employers.
She would ask him that soon. She got out of the shower finally and took her time drying her body. She was in no hurry to rejoin the others. She did not hear any sound, which was good so far. She slipped her clothes back on, sighing a little as she wished she had new underwear. That could not be helped at the moment of course. She walked out to the kitchenette to grab out one of the baked bean tins and grabbed a plate to put two slices of bread on. She grabbed out a spoon and opened the tin, sniffing the aroma of the beans which made her stomach growl angrily at her. She scooped some of the beans onto the slice of bread and bit into it. She enjoyed the flavour of the beans and the bread together, though when she tried to swallow, she nearly gagged and she had to force herself to swallow. She stared at the food and realized that she didn't actually want to eat. She sighed, there was no use in wasting the food she has. She figured one meal a day was enough.
She walked out of the room and she didn't hear any music of any kind. She wondered if Bulkhead managed to keep Miko quiet, that would be nice. Saphira herself loved to play guitar, but acoustic guitar. She figured she could sneak back into her old house to get some things back, including a photo of her mother. Though she would need to do that during school. It was risky, but she had sentimental items she wanted to retrieve if she could before they get thrown out.
She took another bite of the baked bean covered bread, again forcing herself to swallow the food as she made it to the main lobby. To her surprise, no one was present. That surprised her. She glanced around, looking for any sign of Bulkhead and the kids. She figured they were hiding to surprise her. Though she couldn't see them, just Miko's guitar and sound system set up.
"Arcee to base, come in," Arcee's voice spoke through the radio. Saphira widened her eyes and ran to the stairs to run up to the monitors. "Jack? Listen up, we need you to bridge use back. Hello?"
Saphira reached the monitor and pressed the button to respond. "Arcee, it's just me here in the base."
"What do you mean it's just you?" Arcee demands in irritation. "Isn't Jack with you?"
"No, nobody is here. I don't know where they have gone." Saphira looked at the coordinates screen and looked at the ground bridge. "Looks like they went to a different coordinates than Optimus and Ratchet."
"Grr...alright, I'll give you our location so you can bridge us back, Saphira," Arcee said bluntly. "You will need to stay behind to man the ground bridge."
"I understand," Saphira said affirmatively. She looked at the monitor ready to bridge the autobots in. "Tell me your location." Arcee told her the exact location and Saphira typed it on the keyboard to open the bridge. "Hope I got it right."
She turned and watched the bridge open up, waiting to see who would come through. Arcee and Bumblebee speed through, making Saphira sigh with relief. She had no idea where the others have gone, though she had a bad feeling about it.
Arcee transformed, glaring at Saphira and noticed the plate of food by the monitors. "How did you not know they had gone after Fowler?"
"Um...what?" Saphira looked at her in confusion. "I didn't know because I was in the shower and getting myself food. I'm sorry I wasn't here to stop them. If they went to a fight, then the kids are stupid enough to follow Bulkhead."
