Saphira did not know what to think of these new people that were chasing them for the device. She didn't know if they were from another country or not, however, from little Silas had said through the radio, it sounded like he had a vision of his own. And the man recruited lowly followers to join his cause and train them. She wondered if he was ex-military or simply was the leader because of his personality and attitude. Silas was already a person Saphira did not want to meet in person. That would very well depend on how today panned out.
She glanced at the sideview mirror and she could see one of the cars speeding up behind Optimus and another man open the roof of the car and shot something at the back of the trailer. She observed the man and realized their weapons were similar to her EMP rifle, only they had more controls than hers which only had one purpose. She saw the back clamps open and she realized they were going to try and make for the Dingus that way. Especially as the man climbed to the hood of the car and prepared to jump into the trailer.
"So Si, you think Mech has all the most radical tech?" Fowler asked through the radio with a slightly confident and sarcastic voice.
She frowned at the man, she knew his confidence was coming from the fact of the autobots with them, but Saphira did not think that this man was someone to take lightly. He already has shown what they were capable of, and she was certain it was only a small amount of it. She looked at the sideview again and saw Arcee hitting the man and the hood of the car that were right behind Optimus. The impact of her hitting the hood, threw the man over the back of the car, and caused the driver to lose control and the car rolled over. And one of the other cars behind that car hit the rolled car and flipped over it, landing hard and exploding into flames.
"Frag...that was...their cars must be combustible to do that," Saphira said in disbelief, realizing that the autobots had just killed some humans, even if they themselves didn't cause the car to flip on purpose.
Fowler himself did not seem concerned by it, but rather amused by it. He had a smirk on his face and spoke through the radio in a confident voice. "Later Si."
She looked at him with disbelief. "You sound like we won something, Fowler. I don't...I don't think we should be overconfident about this."
"And why not?" He asked with a frown. "You saw what the bots have done to them already."
Saphira opened her mouth to speak when Optimus interjected to speak before her. "Saphira is correct, Agent Fowler. Do not take your Silas lightly. Megatron preached the very same ideology before plunging Cybertron into the great war the destroyed our world."
She nodded in agreement. "I hope I never meet the guy in person. He's probably the one man I can't defend myself against." She swallowed nervously and took a deep breath. "I imagine today will not be the only day we will see this Silas."
Fowler shrugged, he didn't seem worried about it, yet he listened to the concerns from both Optimus and Saphira. It did seem like he should be worried about it, but he wasn't entirely sure at this time. Yet, they did have valid points and he knew he should probably take Mech more seriously. He will be reporting this to his superiors about it, so he felt a little stupid for being immature about it.
"Optimus, prepare to initiate phase two," Ratchet said through the radio, making Saphira shudder a little as she knew she was part of phase two. "Five miles ahead to the south, you will reach the rendezvous point. And Saphira, I hope you are okay to go ahead now that there are these men following you."
Saphira's expression changed to a confident expression and nodded. "I am, Ratchet. I think I'll be safer on the train honestly. Mech is going to keep following Optimus once we transfer the Dingus, so by the time they realize, I should be long gone by that point."
