The construction of the new mine had been intriguing to Saphira. When the workers began working on mining the energon, Megatron had come down himself to explore it and have Saphira got with him. Of course, she didn't have much of a choice. She didn't particularly enjoy it though. Megatron found a dark corner of the mine to use to intimidate her, reminding her exactly how she got into his clutches in the first place and that he would do it again to keep the autobots from getting her, even if the rocks crush her properly next time. She believed him, and she hated that he was threatening her that way.
She was brought back to the ship afterwards to sort through the items Soundwave and Breakdown had brought. She was surprised to find it all piled in a mess in the room, and Megatron nearly punched Breakdown through the wall for the mess. Thankfully, Saphira was able to find what she wanted. A fry pan, pot, slow cooker, plates, utensils, cookware and she picked out baked beans, crackers, bread, tin spaghetti, ramen noodles, bottled water, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and general hair and skin products that she was happy and surprised that Breakdown and Soundwave were able to get.
As for clothes, she was happy about the packs of underwear, though for other clothes, it took a bit of sorting through. A lot of it wouldn't fit her, but she found new shirts, jackets, jeans, shoes, pyjamas and shorts that she could wear. She doubted she would wear the shorts, but they were there if she felt like wearing them. Megatron had been intrigued by how she sorted through these things, he didn't show it on his face though. He kept his expression as a hard stare.
He still did not know why it bothered him whenever he was around Saphira. When he saw her with the oxygen mask on, he had felt a tug on his spark. Something he's never had in his life before. And it was important to him that she had what she needed. Or was it important? He couldn't figure it out. This human was making him question himself, and he didn't like it at all.
When it came to night, Saphira was allowed to stay in her home. There, Saphira managed to eat something. She didn't feel the best, so she just had toast with butter on it, and that was it. She was happy to shower though. It felt great to freshen up and wash her hair, it desperately needed a wash. Once that was done, she pretty much went to bed. But she could not sleep. So much was on her mind, and she was so tempted to reach out to Optimus and speak with him again, so she could hear his voice before bed.
However, before she tried, she heard the door to the room open and heavy steps walking inside. She kept still in the bed, holding the blankets to her chin nervously as she waited. "How is it that my spark is confused?" She blinked in surprise when she heard Megatron's voice. It was softer than it had been before, and he was talking to himself. "How do you make me rethink my actions? At least...regarding your presence here on my ship..." He groaned and took a few steps, she heard him take a sit on his berth and hummed thoughtfully. "Even my decepticons are questioning me! How dare they! This is the perfect plan!" He paused again, and Saphira waited, thinking he was not finished. He wasn't. "It is almost as if from the time I saw you while I lingered within that scout's mind, my mind and spark are arguing. I need to know why...and perhaps, snuff out that heart before it drives me insane."
Saphira listened to his words, and she couldn't help but feel surprised. Somehow, Megatron was confused by her. But she didn't quite understand fully what he was meaning. She didn't know if it was because she and Optimus were in a relationship, or something else. She definitely was not going to ask Megatron what he meant. But, she eventually fell asleep as her mind questions precisely what Megatron was saying to himself. And she was thankful to fall into a deep, dreamless sleep.
"Saphira." Saphira heard the echo of a voice as she was slowly pulled out of her sleep. She at first didn't realize where she was, she just wanted to sleep. "Saphira, wake up!" She groaned and shifted, she was too warm and comfortable to care. She didn't want to get out of bed. "WAKE UP YOU FRAGGING FLESHLING!!"
