The next couple hours pass by and the autobots had gained most of their strength back. They drank some energon cubes while Ratchet worked on repairing the damage on Bulkhead and Bee's bodies while Arcee was finally able to get up and stretch her legs. Optimus was already walking around, which was unsurprisingly given he is a Prime and he seemed able to recover quickly. Saphira was certainly happy with that. At this point, Optimus and Arcee took the other three kids home as it was getting late, and Bulkhead and Bee weren't quite ready to take them home.
While Optimus was out, Saphira watched Ratchet work on the Bee's mesh wounds. She sat on the second level platform with her legs through the railing and resting her arms on the railing. She yawned a little and Ratchet turned his head to look at her. "You should go and get some recharge, Saphira. It has been a long day for all of us."
"I'm fine," Saphira retorted quickly, rubbing her right eye a little.
Ratchet exhaled and smirked at her. "Do I need to make you get to your bed?"
"You'd better do what he says, Saphira," Bulkhead said to her gently. "You do look like you're about to doze off at any moment. I have a feeling you're staying up because you're concerned, but we will survive. A couple days rest and we will be fine." He gently beats his fist on his chest confidently to show they would be okay. "It will give us time to make repairs around the place."
Ratchet nodded, appreciating Bulkhead's input. "He is right. You are not doing yourself any favours by not going to rest. And you should probably eat something too, I imagine all that activity today has burned a bit of fuel."
Saphira shrugged a bit. "I'm not hungry." The medic's face turned to worry at those words. "No, really, I am not hungry. Though..." She looked towards the door of the med bay, thinking about her room. "I am not sure what damage I will find to my room...I'm kind of...scared of any loose beams and such from above."
"Ohhh, I see." Ratchet rubbed his chin as he realized the reason Saphira was hanging around. "Hmm...if that is the case, I will come with you to ensure that your quarters are not severely damaged. If there is any damage, it will be fixed, I can promise you."
"I might need a new fridge though," Saphira said as she moved to stand up. "I saw some chew marks on the door when I went in earlier...and fridges can't really be fixed if they're eaten."
"I suppose that is true. It is a box you use to keep your food cool, correct?" She nodded at Ratchet's question as he rubbed his chin. "Maybe I could make something for you."
She smirked at him as she walked down the stairs. "Uh huh...like when you tried helping Jack, Raf and Miko with their schoolwork?"
The medic rolled his optics. "Primus...no one is ever going to forget that easily it would seem." She giggled at him and Ratchet extended his hand to her. "Alright, let's get going. No point hanging around talking when we can get you to bed."
Saphira climbed into his hand and sat down, yawning again and stretching her arms. "Yeah...I guess we better."
Ratchet grinned at her and carried her out of the med bay to take her to her room. There was a lot of clean-ups to do around here, but the bots seemed to want to rest first before doing any cleaning and repairing. And that was okay. Saphira thought about her room, she only saw one scraplet at the time. But after seeing the other scraplets...she definitely worried that they ate more things in her room. There was only one way to find out of course. At least she knew that her guitar and picture would be okay since they were not metal.
Ratchet reached the door to her room, however, it did not open automatically. He groaned and lowered Saphira to the ground. "Just great...sorry, it will need to remain open until we repair the door controls."
