Saphira stared at the silver mech in front of her with wide eyes of fear. She knew that she could not get away. Megatron seemed to be observing her silently as his optics seem to glance at the injury on the side of her head.
"Saphira..." She shuddered upon hearing him say her name, she thought about running at the moment. "I must say, this wasn't the exact plan that I had intended for meeting you properly. However, it seems our predicament has worked in my favor."
Saphira frowned a little at him. "If you hadn't shot up the place, we wouldn't be stuck down here..." She clamps her hand over her mouth once the words leave her mouth. Megatron grinned at her deviously. "Then again...um...forget it..."
Megatron chuckles and grabs her by the waist suddenly, causing her to yelp in surprise and fear. He stood up slowly, gazing at her closely. "You are correct, fleshling. I would not be here holding you in my clutches right now if I didn't shoot the mine." His optics glance at the injury again. "Hmmph...that's quite the injury there. I will ensure that proper care will taken for you."
She looked at Megatron with a confused expression before he began to walk ahead, seemingly following the direction of the drill. "Why would you care?"
"Because you are valuable to me, Saphira. Valuable enough to lure Optimus Prime to whatever trap I have for him." Megatron did not look at her as he walked through the tunnel. "I must say...a Prime falling in love with a human is going to be a story that we will laugh at for years to come."
Saphira rolled her eyes, she didn't bother trying to escape his grasp. His rigged fingers alone could easily bruise her body. She sighed and grimaced a little, holding her head as it continued to throb. She also felt very weary all of a sudden. The urge to sleep was rather strong at the moment. But she fought it in case she had a chance to flee.
Megatron growls suddenly, causing her to flinch. "Fragging Starscream left me as soon as the cave began to collapse. The things I would do to him right now..." He clenched his other hand tightly as he spoke, and she knew he wasn't speaking to her. "If he even made it out, I'll do far worse to him...maybe, remove that new arm of his."
Saphira listened to his monologue and sighed a little. "He'll get what he deserves..." She muttered to herself.
Megatron blinked and glanced at Saphira, he had been a little disappointed that she didn't try to escape from. However, he had noticed that she had been holding her head and she seemed a bit unwell. It worked in his favor, sure, but...Megatron also wanted to know why, whenever he thought about this human, that something pulls at his spark. Maybe it was why Optimus was close to her. It was something he intended to find out.
Saphira looked around the tunnel as Megatron continued to walk, silently hoping for Arcee or Bulkhead to show up...but...even if they did, she knew Megatron will use her to get away. She found herself feeling both frustrated and upset about that. However, Saphira didn't know what Megatron actually intended to do.
"I am surprised I haven't heard Prime," Megatron spoke to himself suddenly. "Perhaps, the injury to the head has disrupted the connection a little..." Saphira tensed, surprised that Megatron assumed that she and Optimus were bonded. Megatron glanced at her curiously, feeling her tense in his hand. "Or...you have not bonded. Why am I not surprised?" Megatron laughed suddenly, making her flinch a little at the intensity of the laugh. "He always seems to take his time. He wasn't even bonded to Elita."
Saphira did not say anything, she felt nervous by how he was speaking about all of this. She flinched when he continued to speak. "I think you should count yourself lucky that Prime is not yet your sparkmate." She almost threw Megatron a glare, he was using manipulation now, and she knew it. "He tends to keep promises to those he can't keep. Because I always ruin those promises." He chuckled softly before he stopped suddenly.
