The next few days had actually been pretty good for Saphira. Her thoughts of being a nuisance to the bots dwindled away again and she was able to go to school and her job at a little more ease. Fowler was eventually contacted about the issue and he promised Saphira that he would do his best to have her father arrested for it, but he also told her it could cause the others who had caused pain in her life to bite back. He said he would try to maybe pin something on them to arrest all of them so they wouldn't be able to do anything to Saphira again.
It wasn't exactly what Saphira had expected, and it sent her into paranoia again, it made it difficult to concentrate on school. Thankfully she would pass her final year anyway, but she really wanted someone to deal with her father so she could be safe. And while the autobots preached to her that they would keep her safe, she knew that only extended to decepticons. At this point, she wished it was decepticons threatening her life, that would be so much easier.
As for her and Optimus, well, they found time to spend together whenever they could. Mostly under the guise of general stuff, such as taking her to school, Optimus talking to her about her thoughts and so on. And Optimus had told Saphira Ratchet had checked his berth room a few times this week already to make sure she wasn't with him. It had been annoying to Optimus, but Ratchet seemed to have relaxed a little bit.
Saphira had just finished school today, it was Wednesday and Saphira was looking forward to returning home. She felt happy as she finished a three-hour long exam, and she really needed a nice drive to soothe her thoughts. She was waiting patiently for Optimus to arrive with Jack. Miko was in detention at the moment and Raf had stayed home due to a cold.
"I wonder why they're late today," Jack comments as he looked at the road.
Saphira shrugged. "I think they might be on a mission, maybe. I know Ratchet said something this morning about a recon mission with Optimus, though he didn't say anything when he dropped me off. I didn't really ask. At least we don't have a shift tonight."
"Yeah, or we would be walking there." He chuckled a little at his joke, even though walking to work was not going to be a problem. "Anyway...I've spoken to my boss about Friday..." Saphira tensed a little when he mentioned their job. "I told him that you and I have agreed to swap some days. So you'll be working the Saturday day shift and I will be taking your Friday shift."
She smiled at him. "Thanks, Jack. I know you all are looking out for me. I just wish Fowler could do something." She sighed, leaning against the stair railing behind her. "It's a serious threat against myself."
"I know...you gave him your father's name and his address...though you didn't give them his number. Though...I don't think you know it." Saphira shrugged and opened her flip phone. "Or..." Jack leaned closer to look at the screen curiously. "You do know it and you forgot."
"I actually blocked and deleted all of their numbers." Saphira checked her contact list to double check. "Yep, I definitely deleted and blocked them. I guess I didn't think I would need to give them their number. But, I am sure the government could find the number out easy enough."
Jack seemed a bit disappointed, but he understood why Saphira had done that. "I suppose they will. Hopefully something can be done before end of...what the!" He frowned and shakes his head, glancing down to see a paper plane land on the ground. "Somebody threw this at me!"
Saphira chuckled softly as he knelt down to pick it up. "Might be a secret admirer."
He shakes his head. "Me? Nah, not a chance. I haven't had much luck with girls. They always seem to run away from me. Except for you and Miko of course."
"Sadly, you're not my type," Saphira responded playfully with a smirk and a slight wink.
"Yeah, I know. Personally, I have too much on my plate to even think about girls." Jack looked down at the paper and began to open it.
