Although he was no longer behind bars Derek still gets visited by authorities asking him questions about the investigation going on about his uncle,he had testified against Derek from day one and given alot of reasons why the little boy should be behind bars but now he suddenly disappeared plus everyone suspected him for the near death experience Derek had on his last day in jail,the man was associated with alot of fraud activities and dirty businesses so the law was desperately looking for him,or so they tried to make them believe

"I told you all I know already, he's been with us for so long and my dad always calls him his brother even though he never answered the question about who was the eldest between the both of them and as you know I spent half my life in jail already you don't expect me to have useful information for you guys,I don't know anything about him except memories from childhood and I told you everything already"he coughed slightly rubbing his chest,it was always hard talking about his childhood,it was miracle how he kept his sanity after everything he endured both in prison and under his uncle but he kept this a secret because he was seriously hoping to be the first to see the filthy son of a bitch,he clenched his fingers,he would appreciate the pleasure of killing the bastard with his bare hands,he swore under his breathe,the officer stood up and shook his hands"I am sorry Mr Derek,we will stop bothering you but please do reach out to us if you have any useful information,we will appreciate it"he nodded and took the business card the man offered him,the moment the door shut Derek kicked the table and yelled,he flung the card so far from him like it was a scorpion and cursed loudly, holding his head as tears streamed down his face

"Fuck you,fuck you all"he wailed into his hands,he considered the law useless and of no help to the weak because he had gone crying to few of them,they promised to help but only God knows what his uncle goes to tell them that makes them immediately wash their hands off helping him,now they want him to supply information for them to catch him, he'll rather kill the scumbag himself if he ever set eyes on him,the pain was so much in his heart, breathing became instantly hard and he hated it,the feeling of helplessness,the feeling of being useless,he hated it even though it had it's fingers around his heart,he slammed his hands on the table willing himself to get up and overcome the dread that had made him weak in the knees,why was it so impossible to be strong when you needed it most,he cried out in frustration as his legs gave way under him but he was caught into a strong hug before he hit the ground,he looked up to see Eric holding him with a worried look plastered on his face,he shoved him off and tried to shuffle away,the guy probably sees him as a pathetic fool always in need of help

"Go away I don't need your assistance"he yelled and pushed him roughly,he continued fighting him off until Eric grabbed him by force"Hey calm down okay"the fear was back as he saw the serious look on Eric's face and he didn't know when he whispered"Please don't hurt me" a very broken tune,he sounded like a broken clock, Eric was shocked but pulled the crying guy into a warm hug"come on it's okay,I am not going to hurt you, never going to okay, you're save here,I promise"then Derek succumbed to the most painful cries of his life,the weakness he had suffered alone without allowing anyone to see pouring out in volumes as his shoulders shook,a kind of anger pulled in the middle of Eric's chest and he growled"what did that bastard really do to you to make you feel like this"he wasn't asking a question,he could already guess and his anger boiled deeper within him,he vowed to catch the bastard and cut him into tiny pieces when he was alive before finally given him to the wild animals to feed upon,he pulled Derek's face up and looked into his eyes"you don't have to bear this burden alone,I am here,share the pains with me,I promise never to get tired of listening"something in the way he talks made him look so familiar but Derek could not place it"we will get him,I promise you and then you can get your revenge"Derek nodded as he stared at him with tear stained eyes and the unthinkable happened,Eric pulled him closer and kissed him,a small kiss but strong enough to send shock waves down his spinal cord,he swallowed a sob as Eric's tongue probed the walls of his mouth,the kiss went deeper and deeper,

Derek moaned and gripped his shoulders tight and kissed him back with a strong urgency,the kiss that had started as gentle and slow had become hot and demanding, Eric fisted his fingers in Derek's hair as he tilted his head to get a better access into his mouth,he nibbled on his lower lip drawing a soft moan from him,an alarm was ringing at the back of his mind telling him to stop but he just could not push himself to,he was loosing, loosing himself into the sweetness of Derek's lips and even though he knew it might get bad he didn't want to stop, suddenly he was pushed away roughly,he looked at Derek,his face was flushed,lips swollen,eyes wide open and he looked ready to bolt, Eric anticipated it which made it easy for him to catch the ready to run man when he stood up and tried to run"wait,wait ok , I'm sorry,not for the kiss but because it was at the wrong time,I am sorry if it feels like I took advantage of you"Derek was looking at him like he had lost his mind"dammit I might as well get it off my chest Even though I know it's a wrong timing,I like you Derek,I really really like you,I am sorry I don't know what you've gone through but I am not going to pretend to be just a friend anymore,I want to be a part of your life an important part of it,you don't have to give an answer now but just bear in mind and please"he lifted his chin to stare into the most beautiful green eyes he's ever seen"Don't run from me,don't avoid me,don't ignore me and most importantly don't compare me with that bastard that almost made you loose your mind,we can take it slow,just think about it, and even when you do know that I'll never allow you say no"he said the last part with a sweet smile and pulled Derek closer to his chest"feel my heart beat for you"Derek who had exhausted all his strength on tears could not run even if he wanted to, he just sat there on the ground,head on Eric's chest and closed his eyes thinking of everything the guy had said,he shook his head as doubt began to cloud his mind,he mentally started planning on leaving Eric's house,the authorities had insisted he stay with people just to monitor his health and made sure he was stable but right now he wanted to stay very far from him not because he hated him but because he kissed him and didn't feel repulsed,he didn't hate it rather he felt like totally giving his all and that scared him so much,he didn't have any relationship before but he was certain he was not gay,he began to worry if the forced sex he had been subjected to both in prison and by his uncle had affected him,was that why he craved for Eric this much?
