"I missed this place" I took deep breath smelling the air through my helmet "I'm surprised you haven't left me for it" Din grabbed my hand and I laughed "Din are we dating or not?" I asked quickly and it was his turn to laugh "I like to call you my girlfriend from time to time" he joked and I pulled him along.
We found Cara doing what she did best, fighting. "she moves so smoothly" I whispered to Din as he nodded we watched as she took the man down easily "I think I love her more than you" I whispered as Din wrapped his arm around my shoulders "no you don't" he whispered and I looked at him "your right I don't" I mumbled as he walked us both forward.
"Looking for some work?" Din asked and I turned back to see Grogu behind us "oh, no" she joked and I picked Grogu up as we followed the two, Din coming back to wrap his arm around my waist this time.
"It seems like a straight forward operation, but it could be a trap and I told him this" I said and Cara nodded "if someone runs my chain code I'll rot in a cell for the rest of my life" she said and I looked away from the kid "I thought you were a veteran?" Din questioned "I've done a lot of thing since, that sum up to a life sentence plus I don't want to fight a local warlord" she said and I looked down "is this when you tell her?" I asked and Din reached for my hand "he wants to use her as bait on the imperial side she had old ties and he thinks she can help" he squeezed my hand as Cara turned to me.
"you can't do that, no matter what ties you had, that is dangerous for you" she argued and I shook my head "I haven't shown my face in the public eye for nine years at most I've shown my eyes, I'll be safe and if anything they all listen to me anyways" I explained.
She turned her head "were you like Vader's mistress of something like everyone responded to you or else he would kill them?" she asked and I gagged "no" was all I answered "I'm in, mainly because I want to watch men kneel before you" she smiled and I laughed looking to Din who was shaking his head.
"Can we visit the village now, we can fly there and I'll be quick, just so I can say hello" I pleaded and Din groaned "just to say hello" he instructed and I laughed "he is wrapped around your finger, impressive what diet do you have on him, his face or something?" Cara asked and I facepalmed "Cara he's my boyfriend" she gasped in shock and I laughed "oh body language failed me" she said as Din landed "hurry princess" he yelled and I nodded and ran to the village.
Din pov
"Ok family man" Cara joked and I rolled my eyes "she has my wrapped around her finger, I'm weak now" I joked chuckling "definitely not, I saw how you were holding onto her back there you don't want her to do it do you?" Cara asked and I shook my head "she hasn't been sleeping good at all, and I'm scared what is something happens to her?" I questioned and I heard a groan "nothing will happen to me" Meria said as she sat down and I took off
After 10.2 I will take a little break so A. I can stock up on chapters and B. So I can get ready for school but don't worry if I don't update for a while lol
