As I stood on the hot sand, the two Suns starting to rise as a tear rolled off my cheek falling almost in slow motion.
I looked at what remained of my old home, my only home and I silently sobbed, it’s my fault this happened, it’s my fault there’s no one to greet me at the doors.
“Meria, Hey” a hand was softly placed on my shoulder and I wiped my tears “Din.” My voice was quite and cold as he moved his hand.
“I didn’t mean to hurt you last night, there was just a lot of emotions with you back and I didn’t know how to deal with it” he explained and I turned to him slightly “it’s fine, I didn’t mean to explode but I meant everything I said last night about leaving you” I turned completely to meet his helmet and he looked away “I was planning to leave today if that was ok?” he asked and I nodded grabbing my lightsaber.
Back at the Razor Crest
“you kept the bag of armor?” I questioned laughing slightly as he nodded “I never got around to taking it in, good thing I didn’t” I rolled my eyes and he clicked the ship into hyperspace.
“so, are things like forever awkward or?” he asked and I shook my head “as much as I don’t want to admit it, I still love you a lot” I smiled and I heard his helmet hiss.
He pulled me over and kissed me softly “I love you so, so much” he whispered kissing my again and I melted into his kiss, upset when he pulled away.
“oh, I completely forgot!” I exclaimed pulled his necklace out of my robes, “you kept it?” he asked and I nodded “I also kept the shoulder piece, because I still had this hope that I would be back on this ship with you, and here I am” he shook his head in disbelief and knocked on my shoulder hitting the metal “once a clan always a clan” I smiled and he kissed me again smiling.
“I never wanted someone more than I want you” he brushed my hair back and I looked up at him “I think I have you beat, I need you Djarin I need you more than I’ve ever needed anyone or anything” a sudden crack in my voice gave the tears away as I hurried to blink them back.
“then I’ll never leave you or let you leave, you will always be by my side” he responded hugging me tightly and I just excepted the hug trying not to start sobbing.
