“you have removed your mask in front of him, correct?” The armorer ask a shadow of a kneeling figure.
“Yes, but-” Meria spoke before being cut off, the camera panned to the side, two Beskar helmets, and kneeling body’s were shown.
“She has seen your face, correct?” The armorer ask and Din nodded “correct” he reached over linking pinkies with her.
“then by rule of mandalore you two are linked by love” She stated simply and we stood up “sorry?” Meria questioned and Din chuckled “let’s get going” he pushed her out of the room into the dim hallway.
The scene then turns to a smaller and thinner Meria walking in the same hallway.
“you must be Meria?” the armorer asked and she nodded “I know it’s like against the rules but I need to hide my face to keep those I love safe” the armorer nodded and Meria felt eyes all over her even if she couldn’t see them.
“Everyone out, now!” she ordered and everyone listened “how old are you?” she asked and Meria looked down “16, and I know I have the biggest bounty on my head but I’m dangering my brother and I don’t want anything to happen to him” she nodded “you can stay here until your armor is finished but in the meantime I’ll have one of our best train you, meet Din Djarin” I turned to see one of the ones who didn’t pay much attention to my walk in.
“You can call me Mando, to make things easier” I nodded shaking his firm hand.
A voice over plays of Meria talking about Din to someone unnamed, she sounds hurt or broken about something
“He’s the first Mando I knew after I became a Mandalorian, and I will forever cherish our relationship and every moment we shared, even if that means I have to let go of him”
A training montage of the two plays and it shows as Meria got more armor and how she had started to get better eventually taking Din down and putting her helmet on for good.
Another voice over plays and it shows Meria seeing Grogu for the first time.
“I was giving the same bounty as you except I had to find this little guy, eventually I found him but I couldn’t do it and it became a bounty for me and the kid, no hunter ever made it out except for you” She explains.
it cuts to black before the Mandalorian logo pops up with Meria in different letters then Din and Grogu.
