“let them go and I’ll let you kill me” Din said and I shook my head “No take me let him and the kid free, please” I begged and he released my cuffs “say your goodbyes” he said and I ran to Din hugging him.

“I love you, thank you for coming here and he’s an idiot” I whispered throwing Gideon handed grogu to Din as he got up and I ran out meeting the dark saber with my lightsaber “you aren’t as powerful as you father was” he grunted and I pushed back “your right, I’m stronger than he ever was” I pushed again and he fell back dropping the dark saber and Din picked it up flipping it in his hand before holding it out to me “I already have one, take him to the others I’ll join you” he nodded grabbing my hand “be careful please, princess” I nodded resting my forehead on his “I love you Din and I will never leave you” I whispered and he chuckled “I hope not, seriously be careful though” I nodded and waited for the droids to arrive.

An hour later

There were too many and they were at the door as I tried to draw them away nothing was working “I can’t get them away!” I yelled and Din came through comms

“It looks as if help in on the way hand in there” he demanded and as if on cue the elevator beeped and whoever it was started to help me get through and what shocked me the most was both of us using the same move to throw a severed head killing two droids at the same time.

I turned my lightsaber to his as the doors opened “who are you?” I asked and he put his lightsaber away “Meria he just saved your life lower your lightsaber” Din reached for me and I shook my head “who are you, it’s like your inside my head!” I yelled and he reached up grabbing his hood “now sister don’t be foolish, that’s not how it works”

Luke.

He was alive.

“Luke? Your alive?” I questioned and he looked at my lightsaber “very much, and I see your not letting go of dad?” he asked and I shook my head putting it on my side.

“I missed you a lot more than I’d like to admit” he hugged me and I laughed.

“oh, this is Din, my friend and Grogu, my son” I joked and he smiled “so that’s the force user?” I nodded “you do know you also have to join me too?” he asked and I nodded sadly “Well, I told you it would happen” I turned to Din and he shook his head.

“princess, you don’t need to be trained” he argued and Grogu reached up for his helmet and din put his hands on his helmet removing it.

The first time I saw his face he was dying and now, the last time I see his face I feel like I’m dying, I’m loosing my best friend, and my boyfriend.

I removed my helmet and exposed my tear stained cheeks, I hugged Din tightly and grabbed my bag from him “keep him safe for me, please” he tilted my chin up to look at him and I nodded “I’m sorry” I whispered and he kissed me softly and sweetly.

The first time I had kissed him he took my his name, and now, the possible last time I’ll ever kiss him it feel just as special.

“you have nothing to be sorry for, sometimes clan part but they always, find each other again and I promise I’ll find you again, because I love you and love is stronger than anything, my mom told me that and I’ve lived by it ever since” he kissed me again and I smiled “when I find you I won’t leave you” he brushed my hair back and handed me his necklace “give it back when you find me, and only then” I smiled and turned to leave with Luke and Grogu, not looking up at anyone especially not Din because if I did im afraid I would never leave them.

“Just friend huh?” Luke asked and I punched his arm.
I really did miss him.
