"Hey," Ivy called out as she entered the familiar Astronomy classroom. "You wanted to see me?"
"Yeah," Nadia smiled brightly from her desk. "Hi, sweetheart. We haven't spoken in a while."
Ivy sat down opposite her, "Well, Nadia. I haven't forgiven you for letting Draco win."
She rolled her brown eyes, "I didn't let him win anything."
"That smirk says otherwise."
Nadia shook her head, amused. "How have you been? You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm okay. Just been focusing on this whole Harry/tournament thing, I don't trust it. Hey, you haven't noticed or heard anything suspicious with the teachers, have you?" Ivy asked.
"Nope. Nothing out of the ordinary."
"Sirius says it's Karkaroff we need to look out for- being an ex-deatheater and all- but I don't trust Moody. Or Crouch," Ivy admitted.
"You can trust Moody. He's been a loyal auror for years, longer than you've even been alive," Nadia assured her. "He helped train Sirius and Remus and your dad when they first started out."
Ivy scrunched her face, "They were aurors?"
"You didn't know that?" Nadia questioned in surprise. "Yes, during the first war, when we all joined the order."
"What's the order?"
"Never mind," Nadia was quick to give up. "I actually called you here because I have something for you." She reached below her desk.
"Fine, but I will be asking about this order business another day. When it's of convenience."
Nadia wore a small smile, "I'm sure you will." She placed a big box on the desk. A letter was attached to the ribbon that enclosed the box. "Remus sent this. I believe it may be from Sirius, actually, but, they wanted me to pass it on to you."
"What is it?" Ivy asked, glancing between the big box and her Professor.
"I'm not sure," She shook her head. "But you can take it and find out."

Ivy was alone in her dormitory, sitting on her bed. Twilight purred and lay in her lap as she opened the letter.
Our dearest Ivy,
We hope this letter finds you well. Hearing about the Triwizard Tournament reminded us of a certain kind of fun- The Yule Ball. While going through some old belongings of your parents and aunt, we came across something special.
Enclosed, you will find a dress your father once gifted your mother for a Christmas ball. She looked beautiful as ever that night, and James spent every second reminding her of it. We have no doubt that if you choose to wear it, you will look just as beautiful. The dress is more than fabric, it is a symbol of the love your parents shared- a love that lives on in you.
