Ivy leaned against a window in the common room, writing in her diary and briefly glancing at Twilight and Cosmo. She had, for once, managed to get some time alone and felt content as she let out her private thoughts on the pages of her journal.
"Hi, Ivy."
The green-eyed girl looked up and gave a small smile to Astoria who was smiling back at her as she walked closer.
"Hi, Astoria."
"Do you mind if I join you?" The girl with the deepest shade of dark blue eyes asked in her usual, sweet and high-pitched voice.

Ivy was surprised but she didn't mind the girl so she shook her head, "No, not at all."
Astoria happily took a seat beside her, "So, how have you been since the whole fiasco with Draco?"
Ivy nodded and shrugged, "I've been fine, it was just Draco being, you know..."
"Draco?" Astoria answered with a raised brow as if she entirely understood.
Ivy let out an amused breath, "Yeah, I guess so. He finally managed to get out my last nerve, it seemed."
"It was bound to happen," Astoria shrugged. "Besides, someone needed to humble him, quick, and who better than you?"
Ivy raised her brows in disagreement, "I doubt he'll actually remain humbled by my outburst."
"I guess we'll see." Ivy looked down and continued writing as Astoria's eyes watched Twilight and Cosmo run around them, before looking back at the beautiful girl in front of her. "I think you might be good for him, you can change him."
She looked back up in surprise and stayed quiet for a moment, "I don't think he's mine to change."
Astoria smiled and just let out a hum. Ivy turned her head to glance out the window, seeing the Giant Squid in the distance.
A thought came across the brunette's mind, "Hey, Ivy? Your friends with the Weasley's, right?"
"Something like that," Ivy muttered.
"What do you know about Ginny?"
Ivy looked at Astoria and furrowed her brows, "What do you mean?"
"Well, what is she like? We have some classes together and we were even partnered up for a few and I wanted to be friends with her since she seemed really nice, but, I don't know, she's become very quiet and reserved and she always seems sort of worried or in some state of distress. Any time I try to reach out to her, or if anyone does, she just shuts everyone out and I'm not entirely sure why."
Ivy was confused by that. The explanation of Ginny Weasley was nothing like what Ivy thought of the girl. "That's... quite surprising, actually. I haven't spent much time with her but I know she's usually quite feisty and loud and daring, typical Gryffindor. I mean, there were moments she became all shy and quiet but I assume that's because of her little crush on my brother. I guess, she doesn't usually behave the way you explained."
As Astoria looked down in thought, Ivy placed her focus on her diary again.
"She does that, too."
Ivy glanced up, again, "Sorry?"
"Ginny," Astoria answered. "She's always off scribbling away in a diary much like your own. And when I tried to take a peek at it, it was empty, completely blank, so I don't really know what she's doing in it."
Ivy looked back down, "You could always just ask her."
"Maybe?" Astoria wondered. She then shook her head, "No, that would never work."
