A random and awkward silence filled the train compartment. Ivy sat with her jean-clad legs brought up to her seat and messed with her thick fish plait at the side of her head as Blaise sat beside her staring at the ceiling and Theo seemingly slept beside him. Davina sat cross-legged in one corner, staring at everyone whilst Daphne huffed from beside her and subtly eyed the dark-skinned boy in front of her.

Ivy didn't want to break the weird silence, though a part of her wanted them to talk, specifically about the very thing they were all avoiding- the Death Eater attack. Her green eyes stared out the window, pointedly ignoring Davina's stare and continuously making accidental eye contact with the blond boy in front of her.

Draco rested his head on his hand as his arm leaned against the window. He had a bored look on his face as he looked around but as his grey eyes met hers one too many times, Ivy knew he was thinking about her too.

As he sat in front of her, Ivy internally admitted one thing- Draco Malfoy did look good this year.

That didn't mean anything though, of course.

"Is no one going to say anything?" Daphne asked, frustrated.

With his eyes still closed, Theo said, "Daph, why did I know you'd be the one to break the silence?"

"She doesn't know how to sit in comfortable silence," Blaise muttered.

"Nothing about this silence is comfortable," The blonde girl was quick to disagree.

"I found it comfortable," Davina told her.

"You're the one making it awkward," Daphne rolled her blue eyes which caused the brunette to scrunch her face in confusion.

"Why don't you all just shut up?" Draco sighed.

Daphne whipped her head to him, "Why aren't you talking? You're meant to be the biggest yapper here!"

Draco pulled a face as he looked at her, "No, Daph. That's always been you."

She sighed and looked at the only person who hadn't spoken, "Ivy? Is there anything you'd like to say?"

Ivy looked away from the window and blinked at her, "My eye hurts."

A small smile appeared on Draco's face as Daphne loudly groaned.
