As Ivy stood set up the dining table, watching her aunt Petunia put icing on a cake, she frowned and remembered why she preferred isolating herself in her attic. Loud rattling could be heard from above and Ivy knew Hedwig was becoming desperate to leave.

Same, girl.

"Where's your brother, girl?" Vernon called out from behind her, in the living room.

Ivy scrunched her face, "In his room, where else?"

Petunia's smile fell into a look of disapproval, "Don't use that tone with your uncle!"

"Harry Potter!" Vernon yelled out.

A moment later, Harry entered the kitchen. Petunia nodded her head when she saw him, "He's in there. Vernon."

Harry and Ivy share a look before he turned to face their uncle. Uncle Vernon tied Dudley's tie and complained about Hedwig whilst Harry tried defending his poor owl and sadly admitted that his friends hadn't tried to send him any letters during the summer.

"Who would want to be friends with you?" Dudley sneered as he barged Harry with his shoulder when he walked past.

Vernon stepped closer, "I should think you'd be a little more grateful. We've raised you and your sister since you were babies, given you the food off our table, even let you have Dudley's second bedroom, purely out of the goodness of our hearts."

Harry looked at Ivy who wore a fed up expression, one he very much related to.

"Not now, bobkins. It's for when the Masons arrive," Petunia could he heard lightly scolding Dudley.

Vernon raised a fat finger, "Which should be any minute."

The three Dursley's huddled into the living room as Vernon turned to the them, "Now, let's go over our schedule once again, shall we? Petunia, when the Masons arrive, you will be?"

"In the lounge, waiting to welcome them graciously to our home," She answered as she acted out her movements.

"Good, and Dudley, you will be?"

In a weird attempt at a posh voice, he answered, "I'll be waiting to answer the door."

"Excellent." All three pairs of eyes then turned to the twins as they began to stand closer to them. "And the two of you?"

Ivy answered, "We'll be upstairs, in our bedrooms."

"Making no noise and pretending that we don't exist," Harry continued in a mocking tone.

Seemed to be the right answer.

"Too right, you will," Vernon narrowed his eyes. "With any luck, this could be the day I make the biggest deal of my career, and you two will not mess it up."

Ivy walked ahead of her brother, making her way towards the attic when she heard him quietly but desperately call out for her.

She turned and saw him standing at his door with his eyes wide. "What?" Ivy asked, walking up to her brother to see what he was seeing. She paused at the sight of a little alien-like creature happily bouncing on his bed.
