Chapter 9 - "I told you."

Spencer's POV
I wake up to the feeling of someone shaking me. "W-what?" I ask groggily trying to rub the sleep out of my eyes.
"Spence wake up." Aria's voice immediately wakes me up and I snap my eyes open. She hands me a cup of coffee before sitting beside me. Was our kiss just a dream? Had I dreamed everything that had happened last night? I look at Aria over the rim of my cup and take in her appearance, her hair was ruffled probably from sleep, she looked a little tired and I was pretty sure she was smiling. "What are you looking at?" Aria asks, she was definitely smiling.
"You." I answer and watch as a slight blush stains Aria's cheeks. "Was last night a dream?" I ask. It felt like a dream but it also felt real.
"I don't know what you mean." Aria says sounding a little mischievous. I set my cup down on the coffee table and barely sit up before Aria is on me, straddling me.
"I'm guessing you do know what I mean." I say smiling up at her. Aria smiles back at me and I feel a warm sensation in my chest. She leans so close to my face that we're practically inches apart before she pulls away suddenly and resumes her sitting position. "What just happened?" I ask trying to shake off Aria's weird behaviour. As if by magic my question was answered when Byron walked into the room doing up his tie.
"Spencer?" Byron asks sounding a little surprised to see me on the couch.
"Hey Mr Montgomery, sorry to steal your couch again." I say a complimentary smile on my face.
"It's fine, I have to run down to Hollis are you two girls going to be alright?" Byron asks.
"Dad we'll be fine." Aria says a tone of annoyance at her father's words in her voice. He gives her a quick kiss on the head and I wave before he's out the door and we listen to his car pull away. "So where were we?" Aria asks her voice taking a seductive tone that made me swallow hard. She slides up my body lying on top of me before looking into my eyes.
"This isn't going to work." I say and I see Aria frown in utter confusion. I flip her over in one smooth motion so that I'm on top of her. "I'm the one who has to be in control." I see Aria's lips curve up into a smile and I lean down and plant a kiss on her soft lips. It's not long before the kiss turns passionate my want for Aria being portrayed into the kiss. I jump up at the sound of the door and walk halfway across the room.
"Relax Spence, it's probably Hanna for her shoes." Aria says but that's even worse. I could handle Emily, she doesn't know about my feelings, I could handle anyone who walked through that door but I could not handle Hanna Marin right now. Hanna slips into the door and her eyes widen when she sees me standing by the kitchen doorway. Oh crap, she knows. "Hey Spence." Hanna says a little too knowingly, she wiggles her eyebrows at me and I roll my eyes at her.
"Here are your shoes." Aria says and I'm thankful she drew Hanna's attention away from me.
"So did you have a fun time last night?" Hanna asks a sly smile on her face.
"With Ezra? It was very... eye opening." Aria says and I was certain she glanced at me for a second.
"Okay cut the crap, are you two together or not?" I almost choke on air and I see Aria almost fall over when she was standing still. Classic Hanna she was always so forward.
"W-Why would you say that?" Aria asks taken aback.
"Because I told her about my feelings for you and I'm still here after talking to Hanna last night about going to see you." I say in one breath trying to get all my words out.
"Oh. Actually I told Emily about my feelings for you."
"Wait, so you two are together?" Hanna interrupts a huge grin on her face. Aria crosses the room and takes my hand in hers our hands fitting perfectly together. "Oh my God, I'm going to cry!" Hanna shouts excitedly.
"Really Han?" I ask shaking my head at her.
"We have to tell Emily!" Hanna screeches and pulls out her phone. She starts to call someone who could only be Emily. Aria and I excuse ourselves to the kitchen while Hanna chats excitedly to Emily telling her to come over right away. Aria let go of my hand and began to make food but shortly after she had let go of my hand I was missing her touch. I wrap my arms around her waist while she's making toast and move her hair to one side to whisper in her ear. "The things I would do to you if we were alone." I purr in her ear. I feel Aria shiver in my arms and I smirk. She twists around in my arms and looks me in the eyes.
"Oh yeah? What would you do?" Aria whispers back wrapping her arms around my neck bringing us closer.
"Something like this." I mutter before closing the space between us. The kiss is slow and gentle at first until I feel Aria lick my lips for entrance and I allow her. Our tongues wrestle for dominance and my heart was going at least a hundred miles an hour. I hear someone clear their throat and we break the kiss gasping for air. I had a feeling that every kiss with Aria would be better than the last. I turn to see Hanna and Emily standing in the kitchen doorway, Hanna was grinning like a crazy person and Emily looked like she was in complete shock. "I told you." Hanna says nudging Emily playfully and all I could do was laugh.

"I'll see you guys later!" I call to Hanna and Emily who were making their way out of the house. Once they were gone I pull Aria onto my lap, she links her arms around my neck and rests her head on my chest while I set my arms around her waist making sure she wouldn't fall from my lap. "I was thinking..." I trail off looking at the small girl in my arms, I was still a little shocked that she was mine.
"Oh no, when Spencer Hastings thinks." Aria jokes and I laugh gently.
"Would you do me the absolute honour of accompanying me on a date?" I ask.
"Well since you asked so kindly, I would be honoured to join you on that date." Aria says drawing her face close to my neck. I could feel her steady breaths on my skin and I was confused as to how she was so calm because I was freaking out. "Our first date." Aria whispered quietly. I felt her lips brush my neck and I swallowed thickly, she was teasing me.
"Hmm." It was all the words I could manage. I felt Aria chuckle before she started to nibble gently on my skin. "Aria..." I had meant for it to sound firm but it came out as more of a moan. She started to plant kisses up my neck and slowly up to my jawline. "Aria." I say firmly this time she pulls back with a mischievous glint in her eyes and I knew that she was going to get me into trouble. "You're really hard to resist." I whisper and I watch a smile spread across her face.
"You're really hard to resist." Aria echoes my words but her voice sounded a lot more sexier than mine.
"I should go." I say looking at the clock, it was only seven o'clock but I was afraid that if I spent too much time with Aria I would be tempted to go a little further than just kissing. "I do have to plan our date." It was going to be difficult our first date because we were both not ready to come out.
"Okay." Aria stands up from my lap and pulls me up. "Goodbye kiss?" She says looking sweet and innocent. I lean down and plant a soft kiss on her lips, I made it quick since Aria wasn't the only one who could tease. "Hey! Is that it?" Aria pouts and I smirk at her.
"You'll just have to wait." I say and try to not laugh at the pout Aria was giving me. I say one final goodbye before I'm out the door and sitting in my car. I really have no idea what to do for our first date but right now I was insanely happy and nothing could change that. Tomorrow was going to be amazing.
