Spencer's POV
I wake up tangled in the arms of Aria. I was actually awake before she was, which made a change, usually she woke up before me. I shift slightly and instantly regret it when I feel a dull pain shoot through my upper body. It was my ribs that were mainly bruised. For some reason I had been stupid enough to go for a walk in the dark. I just needed a little time to think things through and now this had happened. What even was this? Aria had kissed me - she wanted this just as much as I did. She starts to stir beside me and I distance myself from her. I scoop up my shirt and underwear and slip them on quickly. She opens her eyes and looks at me confusion evident in her features until she remembers. "Oh my God." She sits up right holding the covers around herself. "Oh my God, I'm a cheater."
"Aria-" I begin to try to comfort her but she cuts me off quickly.
"I cheated on Ezra." She drops her head into her hands. "I can't believe I did this."
"Aria, it's okay." I say holding my side.
"How is it okay?" She asks her voice slightly muffled.
"We don't have to tell anyone, we can keep this a secret between you and I." I suggest. We both knew that this was going to happen again - even if Aria wasn't willing to admit it to herself yet. The thing is, I'm perfectly okay with being the other woman, just as long as I could be with Aria.
"Spencer, we had sex. That is just so not okay." She lifts her head from her hands and looks at me. Her face changes to a look of concern. "Are you okay?" She reaches her hand out and places it on my ribs. I let out a small whimper at the sudden contact even though she had been gentle.
"It's not as bad as it looks." I reply. "Listen, Aria, I'm perfectly fine keeping this on the down low." She stares into my eyes for a long moment.
"You think this is going to happen again?" She asks a little like she was in disbelief. "Spencer, I am not having an affair on my husband."
"Fiancé." I correct sarcastically. "And why not?" I ask leaning towards her. She shakes her head at me but I notice her eyes dart to my lips then back up to my eyes.
"Because that's wrong." She whispers, suddenly, she didn't sound so sure anymore.
"So how about we don't call it an affair? How about we call it an infatuation?" I ask smiling.
"An infatuation?" Aria questions raising her eyebrows at me.
"Uh huh." I nod my head leaning in closer. "I think it could be totally sexy. We could meet each other in the middle of the night and have hot, steamy, sex without the commitment and the awkwardness." My voice takes a seductive tone and I can see that Aria is swaying. "We can see each other on set nights, at a motel, off the grid and under aliases so no one would ever find us and we'd have the best sex there ever was in that motel room." Aria shivers and I press my lips to her's and she instantly responds placing a hand on my chest.
"That sounds hot." She whispers when she pulls away. We were resting our foreheads against each other's and I was smiling at the idea.
"You should probably have a shower before you leave." I say smiling.
"Why is that?" She asks leaning away to look at me properly.
"Because you smell of sex." I state and she rolls her eyes.
"I do not." She replies. I watch as she turns her back on me and my eyes go wide at what I see.
"Um, you and Ezra don't have sex a lot do you?" I ask trying to stop myself from laughing or smiling. Aria turns to look at me frowning in confusion. "It's just, he might see the scratches on your back." I couldn't hold my laughter back any longer, I burst out laughing at the sight of the scratches down Aria's back. They were red but luckily they would probably just heal quickly - in a couple of days at the most. I had done that to her last night.
"God, Spencer, when did you become so rough?" Aria asks smiling amused at me.
"I've always been rough." I answer pulling her back onto the bed. I pin her down on the bed, hovering just above her, looking down at her with my hair falling over us in a sort of curtain around us. She was giggling which always seemed to be able to make me smile.
"I thought I needed a shower because I smelt of sex?" Aria questions placing her finger on my dimple in my chin.
"You do but I thought that maybe we could stink you up a little more before that shower." I tease flirtatiously. I had waited for so long to do this with Aria it felt almost surreal.
"I would like that very much." She replies hooking her arms around my neck and pulling me down onto her lips. I knew that this was probably not the best idea, people always get hurt in affairs, but I wasn't ready to give Aria up, and, if I couldn't have a relationship with her, then I wanted to be able to hold onto her in anyway I could romantically and if sex was the solution then, so be it.
