Spencer's POV
I guess things turned out a whole lot differently than I thought they would. Here I was, lying next to a sleeping angel who just looked so damn beautiful and innocent in her sleep. Her chest was rising and falling slowly and I could hear her snoring very lightly. Things had turned around so quickly; it was only about fourteen hours ago that I had left her standing alone in our motel room. She chose me - she actually chose me - I couldn't understand why she would ever want to be with me but for some reason she did.

I stand up from the bed padding over to my bedroom door before exiting. We had gotten in so late last night that Hanna had been in bed so she had no idea that there was a sleeping Aria in my room. I look up from the floor and yelp in surprise when I see Caleb staring at me with his arms folded across his chest. He had one eyebrow raised in suspicion and he was grinning his stupid smile that I found adorable. "You hiding someone in there?" He questions. I step around him to the kitchen.
"Pfft, what? Nooo." I say unconvincingly. Caleb laughs sitting himself down at the table.
"Well, whoever the lucky girl is, I'm sure you don't have to hide her." Caleb says with a genuine smile.
"I'm not hiding her she's sleeping." I shush Caleb by placing a bagel in front of him hoping he would stuff his face and not ask anymore questions. Instead, however, he pushes the bagel away and leans on his arms to look at me better - so much for that plan.
"Something's up here, I don't know what, but you're going to tell me." Caleb decides and I sigh. He was practically my best guy friend; I couldn't keep anything from him, just like I couldn't keep anything from Hanna, it was annoying really.
"Fine but try to keep your voice down I don't want Hanna or Aria waking up." I bite my lip hoping that Caleb picked up on the name drop that I just did. He frowns at me for a moment like what I just said didn't make sense then his eyes go wide and he makes an 'oh' shape with his mouth.
"Aria?" Caleb asks a little too loud for my liking. Just then Hanna emerges from her room and I pick up the bagel in front of Caleb shoving it into his mouth and then hug his head so he would get the message. I couldn't take any chances, his back was to Hanna, he wouldn't have known she was there.

Hanna looks at us and I give her a wide smile. Caleb wiggles in my grasp and I wrap my arms around his shoulders and lean my chin on his head. "Mmmm... Mmmm... Mm." Caleb murmurs incoheritidly. Hanna looks at us both like we were a couple of freaks and, honestly, we are.
"What Caleb is trying to say is good morning Han." I speak for Caleb as he tries to eat a whole bagel in one bite.
"What is going on here?" Hanna asks. She looked like she wanted to laugh but she just didn't know if she should.
"Nothing." I say nonchalantly.
"Really? Then why has my boyfriend got a whole bagel stuffed in his mouth and why are you being all weird and smiley?" Hanna asks. Caleb swallows and grins triumphantly, I give him a pat on the head in praise.
"That was a good bagel." He comments.
"Okay, why are you being so weird Spemcer?" Hanna asks. Caleb taps his fingers on the table.
"You know it would have been better with butter." Caleb says but Hanna ignores him zeroing in on my behaviour.
"And when did you get back?" Hanna asks another question.
"I'm not being weird and last night." I reply pouring myself a cup of coffee. Hanna frowns rolling her eyes at me.
"I know you Spencer, I know when you're lying to me." She says.
"I'm not lying!" I protest. Caleb plays with the table cloth.
"Is this cotton?" He asks trying to ease the tension. Hanna and I stare at him for a moment.
"Spencer." Hanna says seriously ignoring Caleb's comments. I appreciated what he was doing but we both knew that it was helpless. "Tell me, now." Hanna's voice was demanding without being loud, something that she had perfected, and that was frustrating. She always used that tone to get information out of me and it just wasn't fair.
"Alright, fine, but you have to promise me that you won't freak." I reply. Caleb shifts in his seat a little and Hanna makes a go on gesture with her hands. "Aria is the mystery woman." I confess. Hanna goes completely silent and Caleb looks from me to her.
"Is this real fruit?" He asks referring to the fruit bowl in the centre of the table. I look at Caleb and he gives me a reassuring smile before I decide to answer him.
"Yes." I reply.
