Aria's POV
That shouldn't have happened, that should not have happened. I burst into my apartment and close the door quickly behind me. God damn Spencer. I got caught up in the moment with her and I didn't pull away I didn't even protest a little. Ezra walks in stalling when he sees me standing there. I probably looked like a total wreck, at least, that's how I felt. "I didn't realise you were home." Ezra says giving me his cute frown. I couldn't tell him about what had happened in the car, he would be crushed, and I just couldn't bring myself to do that to him. He didn't deserve that. I take a deep breath trying to push down my emotions, or whatever I was feeling, and give him a smile.
"Hey." I greet walking over and kissing him on the cheek.
"Did you have a good time... With Spencer?" He adds the last words almost like he was afraid of my answer.
"It was fun but I don't want to bore you with the details." I say dismissively wrapping my arms around his torso, his arms wrap around me comfortingly.
"Just girl talk?" He asks with a smile.
"Something like that." I answer sighing. I take a deep breath smelling Ezra's familiar scent - he always smelt of chocolate. "I'm kind of tired, do you want to go to bed?" I ask curiously.
"Sounds like a plan." He leads me towards the bedroom.

Everything was working out okay, he didn't seem to notice anything different or have any suspicions so that was good - I suppose. I climb into bed beside him and lie awake. There was no way I was going to be able to sleep, all I could think about was Spencer and that kiss. I can hear Ezra snoring lightly beside me. I knew I should probably tell him what happened but I'm not completely sure what had happened. Why didn't I stop her? I could have but for some reason I didn't, I just let her kiss me. I close my eyes trying to shut off my mind and, without realising it, I fall asleep.

I wake up to the sound of my ringtone baring. Ezra stirs beside me and I reach out searching the nightstand for my phone. When I finally find it, I slide to answer, the number was unknown so I didn't know who it was. "Hello?" I ask groggily. The clock on the nightstand said it was midnight so I wasn't sure who would be calling me at such a late time of the night.
"Hello is this Miss Montgomery?" A female voice asks. She sounds formal almost like a secretary or some sort of office worker - someone who talks a lot.
"This is she." I answer pulling the cord on the lamp beside me so I could see.
"Hello, we have a patient here by the name of Spencer Hastings." My chest tightens and my heart beats through my chest. "You're listed as her emergency contact." The woman, who I now assumed was a nurse, tells me. Spencer hadn't changed me from being her emergency contact?
"Oh my God, is she okay?" I ask sitting up. I was now fully awake worried about Spencer.
"She was in an accident but she's stable." The nurse answers. "I think you can come down here and pick her up. I don't think her injuries are that extensive." The nurse tells me. I feel a little more relieved, if they were releasing her so quickly then she must be okay.
"I'll be right there." I tell the nurse hanging up. I stand up rushing and throwing on clothes that I didn't even notice that Ezra was awake.
"What's happening?" He asks. He probably thought I was doing a runner or something.
"Spencer got in an accident so I'm going to pick her up and take her home from the hospital." I answer my words rushed. Despite knowing that Spencer was okay, it did little to calm my nerves.
"Do you want me to drive you?" Ezra asks worriedly. He was sitting up now watching me whiz around the room.
"No, I think I'll be okay." I give him a quick peck on the lips as a goodbye. If Spencer was on some sort of medication then I didn't need her spilling to Ezra about the kiss. I rush out of the apartment and dive into my car speeding towards the hospital. I'm pretty sure I broke every traffic law getting to the hospital, but I didn't care, as long as I got to Spencer.

"I can't believe you!" I yell at Spencer who was sitting in one of the hospital waiting room chairs. People glance our way giving me weird looks but I didn't really care I was mad at Spencer. "I thought you were dead when I got that call." Spencer looked like a child being scolded for something they had done wrong. She had her head tilted to the floor, like she was ashamed, and her shoulders were slack.
"I'm sorry." She mutters. Her arm was in a sling and she had a few cuts and bruises, including her ribs, but, other than that, she was okay. She was okay. Except she didn't look okay. I study her for a long time before helping her stand up. She had been given pain medication to help her. She had explained her version of events to me when I had demanded that she tell me what the hell happened. Apparently, Hanna was staying at Emily's, so Spencer decided to go for a walk to clear her head, something I had been trying to do by lying in bed tossing and turning, she got hit by a car which luckily wasn't traveling too fast and it hadn't hit her head on. She had made a joke about how she should have worn reflective gear but I gave her a stern look of disapproval and her face fell immediately. I feel myself soften at her words, I could tell that she really was sorry even though she really didn't have anything to be sorry for, well, other than scaring the crap out of me.
