In the morning, two contingents rode to Dambu, burning as they went.
The wind was changing, though still coming from slightly north of west. By afternoon, the wind came almost directly from the south. The contingents from Dambu met up with the ones from the hall as the grasses and burned scrub in a line north of the road west.
At least tomorrow's travels for the first mile or so should be clear.
