~Back at the Curtis House~
When I get home, Sodapop informs me that he wants to decorate for Christmas today. He starts blaring holiday music before I crawl into the attic to get the stuff.
Soda, Steve, and I are the only ones home so we have the music on super loud. Steve and I are the only two really doing the decorating because Soda is busy having a full-on concert in the middle of the living room. He found his Santa hat and got way too excited about it.
By the time everyone else gets home, the house looks like a tinsel bomb went off.
Later on, the rest of the gang comes over. Today we are picking names for Secret Santa. We found it's easier for everyone to only get one bigger gift because we're all broke teenagers.
Then we Curtiss' usually get each other small gifts.
Steve and I made gingerbread cookies for everyone and they are gone in about 2 minutes.
Darry adds everyone's names to a bowl and passes it around the room. I look to see who I got for Secret Santa and its Soda. I already know what I'm gonna get him.
His goldfish, Pancake, died two weeks ago and he is super upset about it. So I'm gonna get him a new one.
