Chapter 8: Christmas Eve

~time skip to Christmas Eve~

Since the guys usually spend Christmas with their families, we do our gift exchange the night before.

Soda opens up his gift first, which is from me. He loves his new goldfish so much that he starts crying. He decides to name it Potato.

Steve goes next. His gift is from Ponyboy, and it's a new toolkit.

Then it's Darry's turn. He gets new work boots from Dallas.

Twobit gets a Mickey Mouse doll from Johnny and it's really creepy. But Two seems to like it.

Soda bought Johnny a new Jean jacket since his old one got ruined in the fire. Johnny really likes it and puts it on immediately.

Then it's my turn to open up my gift. It's from Steve. It's super heavy and I'm kinda nervous. I pull off the wrapping paper and it's a stack of Playboy magazines. Everyone starts laughing. "I thought you would enjoy those," Steve says with a wink.

Dallas's gift is a giant box filled with cigarettes from Twobit.

And Ponyboy got a book from Darry.
