Rebekah and you organized the ball in a record time, the invitations were already sent, and your dress was fitted and ready. The day of the b all, Kol treated you for a spa day. It was your first time and you bloody loved it. Later that day, Rebekah, Freya and yourself were getting ready in Bekah's room. You chose a forest green gown, with two thin straps on your shoulders, and a v neck along with a pair of heels. A couple women came and did your hair, make-up and nails as well.

The ball had started before the three of you were ready, but Rebekah said 'you had to be fashionably late'. When you were all ready Kol met you at the top of the stairs.

"Elijah sent me to get you, he's going to do a speech." Kol said and you all went to where the rest of your brothers were waiting. Finn, Klaus and Elijah sent you smiles, your hand was in Kol's as you stood.

"Hello, I would like to thank you all for coming." Elijah said once the music stopped and everyone was looking at the Mikaelson family. Elijah nodded at someone in the crowd and Hayley joined the Mikaelson, she was shy at first but once she was at her boyfriend's side she became the confident woman she is. Hope was with Jackson's mother for the night, right across the street from the Mikaelson's home. "The reason we're all here, is to celebrate." Elijah continues, you realized that almost everyone here was some kind of supernatural, vampires, werewolves, witches and hybrids as well. "We're celebrating our sister's curse being broken after more than 500 years of silent suffering." Elijah said and he held his hand out for you to take, you gave him a soft smile and took his hand, stepping closer to the railing. "My sister, (y/n) Mikaelson, I hope you all treat her well, I think there's no need for me or my siblings to remind you of how important she is to all of us." You whispered 'Elijah' in a warning yet soft tone, Elijah didn't show he heard you even though he did. "Now why don't you all hold you glasses for my sister." You were handed a wine glass. "To (y/n)."

There was a course of (y/n)s heard around the room, before everyone drank from their glasses. After that the music started once again. You descended the rest of the stairs and were met by Marcel, with a smile on his lips, his dimples were on show.

"Marcel." You said surprised, you hadn't seen him since the day you woke up.

"You sound surprised." Marcel commented, and you nodded.

"Yes, I haven't seen you since the day I woke up." You said, and took the hand he was holding out for you. "Though I am glad that you did come."

"Yeah, sorry about that." Marcel said and led you to the bar. "Klaus had me do some stuff for him."

"What kind of stuff?" You asked curious, you had a feeling what it was about. "Wait! Let me guess." Marcel smiled. "Does it have to do with me?"

"It does."

"Okay, does it have to do with my safety?"

"Correct again."

"Alright, does it involves witches and some threats?"

"Almost." You raised an eyebrow. "It involve more than just witches."

"Figures." You said rolling your eyes. "Now tell me what drink should I get?"

You and Marcel stood at the bar talking for a while, and he ordered you drinks with some strange names, you had to admit that the alcohol tastes so much better now than it did before. In the middle of your conversation with Marcel, you were whisked away by Kol to dance with him.

"Come on brother, don't tell me no girl would dance with you." You teased your older brother.

"Oh they would gladly agree had I asked them, but I just so happen to have someone else in mind." Kol said with a smirk. "She just happens to be out of town, so I guess I settled for the next best thing."
