Request: Part 3 of dramatics. I didnt know i never asked for another part. Reader doesn't feel anything for Elijah but she does spend more time with him which annoys Klaus and Elijah has to back away from reader cause reader doesn't like Elijah the same way. (Lots of angst please), perhaps Klaus gets some sense into him but reader isn't sure if she can give him a chance or not. One shot.

You actually spent a whole week thinking about what Rebekah had said and what that changed for you, finding out that Elijah liked you the way that you liked Klaus was hard mostly because it didn't change your feeling towards him, no matter what way you looked at it you didn't like Elijah the way that you liked Klaus but Klaus was no good for you and you couldn't keep living the way that you were, you were only going to end up getting yourself killed for someone who would never try to save you.

You had been avoiding the brothers for a couple of days, Elijah was the only one that came to find you, he knew that you had moved in with Cami he's been watching before to make sure that Klaus didn't cause you any trouble when you decided to leave the compound so instead of going to his brother with his concerns he went straight to you, he knew that Klaus was never going to drop whatever he was doing to come and make sure that you were okay, the Hybrid just assumed that you would be there when he needed you.

There was a knock at the door and that was your first indication that opening the door was a bad idea, you looked at it hoping that whoever it was would go away "(Y/N) I know your in there." Elijah called through the door "I just want to make sure that you are okay."
"I'm fine." You answered as you stood up, you walked towards the door your hand resting on the door knob.
"Where have you been? You weren't there when I came back." He said softly knowing that you would hear him.
"I needed some space to think about somethings." You answered and he sighed.
"I apologise for my brother." He said and you closed your eyes tears welling up in your eyes.
"Elijah, can I ask you something?" You asked, your voice wobbled as you cleared your throat, he wanted to ask if you were okay but he knew that you wanted to ask him something and he hoped that whatever he answered helped you.
"Of course." He answered.
"Do you like me?" You asked.
"I have developed feeling for you." He answered after a moment to think about his answer and he heard you crying but you still hadn't opened the door and figured that him barging his way in was only going to make it worse.
"I'm sorry." You finally managed to say.
"Why?" He asked with a frown.
"I can't love you the same way." You whispered softly. "and I know that Klaus will never love me, I know that he's no good for me and it's only going to get me killed but I don't know what to do." He heard you slide down the door and he sighed, he didn't want to say it but it was the only way that he was ever going to see you smile again.
"Maybe you should leave." He said. "I love you and I want you to be happy but it would seem that the only way that you can do that is away from this family."
"I have nowhere to go." You pressed the heels of your palms to your eyes in attempts to stop the tears.
"(Y/N) open the door." Elijah pleaded and much to his relief you opened the door he took your face his hands wiping away the tears.
"I will help you get everything that you need to start a new life, as far from here as you want." He promised.
"Why would you do that I just told you that I don't love you." You answered and he smiled.
"I'll get to spend your last few days here with you, as friends and give you some good memories to leave with. You telling me that you don't love me hasn't changed that I love you and I want you to be happy." He answered.
"Thank you." You were crying again but this time it was tears of happiness as you surged forward to hug him.

The next few days with filled with you and Elijah looking at all the different places that you could go and then once you had chosen somewhere that you wanted to go, he would take you shopping for new clothes and things that you would need, he had even given you an address said that you could say there until you got yourself a job and a new place to live. Unfortunately, you left without having spoken to Klaus he never came to see if you were okay and you made yourself promise that you were going to stay away from him. "Thank you for everything Elijah." You smiled as you stood outside the airport.
"Not a problem (Y/N), I'm sure that we will see each other again, unfortunately, there is a good chance that someone will come looking for you as your the only Hybrid left from my brother's line," Elijah explained and you nodded.
"Don't worry about all of that, I'm sure I'll be fine." You waved him off. "Tae care of yourself Elijah."
"You too (Y/N) he smiled as you leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his cheek before running off to catch your flight.
