***

You drove to the Lockwood household. Mr. Lockwood's funeral is today, and you being Tyler's girlfriend you decided to go early, and leave after everyone leaves. I know Tyler is affected greatly by this, I mean who wouldn't even with his father being jerk to him.

You remember times when Ty would come very angry, and he'd tell you how angry he was with his father.

You reached the house and parked there was a few cars that were already parked, but only two or three. You walked up the steps and found Ty standing by the door waiting for people to come. He had both his hands in front of him, and was looking at the floor.

"Hey." You said softly, and his head snapped up quickly, you're surprised he didn't hurt himself.

"You came." He said relieved, Ty gave you a small smile.

"Of course I did." You hugged him. "I told you I will, I couldn't leave you in the time you need me the most."

"Thank you." He whispered quietly in your hair.

"Don't worry about it." You said stepping back, and gave him a small supporting smile.

"My mom, would like to see you." Ty said and you nodded.

"I'll get back as soon as I can." You said and walked into the house to look for Mrs. Lockwood, or Ms. Lockwood from now on. Ms. Lockwood loves you so much, she likes to show you off to all the people she knows. She always told you you're the daughter she never had. After you parents died, your grandmother came and lived with you, but she passed away last year, and seeing as your family is of the founding families. Some strings were pulled and you were allowed to live alone. Someone from the sheriff's office comes and chick on you every night. And Ms. Lockwood chicks on your grades. It was as if the whole town stepped in and became your family.

Anyway you walked inside and found Ms. Lockwood talking to a couple of women.

"Ms. Lockwood?" You said gaining her attention.

"y/n." She said and gave you a small kind smile, she excused herself from the women, and walked up to you and hugged you.

"I'm so sorry for your loss." You told her sincerely.

"Thank you sweetie." She said squeezing your shoulder. "Come with me."

You walked around with Ms. Lockwood for almost an hour. Your every attempt to go back to Tyler failed. The place started to get filled and you excused yourself for fresh air, and walked outside, to find Tyler gone.

You went to his room upstairs and again couldn't find him. It then clicked where he is. You changed your path to his father's office.

You knocked on the door, when you didn't hear a reply you walked in.

"There you are." You said when your eyes fell on Ty who was looking at a picture of his father.

"Where were you?" He asked you not turning to look at you. You frowned at his tone.

"With your mother." You told him, you walked up to him and put a hand on his shoulder.

"I needed you, not my mother." He spat out the words angry. You took a step back confused of his behavior.

"Ty you're just sad, please just calm down."

"I'm not sad. Everyone here hated him, some didn't even talk to him once in their lives."

"Ty, you know I loved him like my own father, and I am very sad that he passed away."

"STOP LYING!" He shouted advancing towards you.

"Tyler please calm down, please!" You exclaimed, and took a few steps back getting scared.

Suddenly the door opened, and Tyler's uncle Mason walked in, he walked straight to Tyler.

"Hey, man calm down." Mason said standing between Ty and you. "y/n, right?"

Mason asked you turning his head to you, you nodded.

"I'll take it from here." again you nodded. You quickly left the room then the house. You walked to the lake on the Lockwood propriety. You sat on the bench beside it.

You don't know how long you've been siting there, before someone sat beside you. You didn't even hear anyone walking up to you, you turned your head to see Mason.

"He's just sad you know." Mason told you.

"I know."

"He's mad at himself for getting angry and scaring you."

"I'll talk to him tonight after everyone leaves." You told Mason, staring at the lake.

"You're a good girl, you're good for him." Mason told you and you smiled, before turning to him.

"Thanks."

"Take care of my nephew."

"Don't worry I will."

He left after that, leaving you to your thoughts. However you didn't stay for long, and went back inside. You found Bonnie when you walked inside. The rest of the time you spent with one of your friends, trying to avoid Ty until the end of the day.

Slowly everyone left, so it was just you, Ms. Lockwood, Mason and Tyler.

"You're still here?" Ms. Lockwood asked you, when she saw you going upstairs to Ty's room.

"Yeah, I'm going to see Ty." You told her.

"Thanks for being here for him." Ms. Lockwood meant it. She was glad that her son, found someone like you.

You then continued to Ty's room. You opened the door slowly, he was sitting on the edge of the bed, his head in his hands, with his elbows on his knees.

You gently closed the door behind you and you then walked up to him and stood before him, you ran your hand through his hair making him look up to you. His eyes were red and buffy. He quickly wiped his eyes.

"Hey, you don't have to hide your feelings from me ever." You told him your heart breaking looking at him like that. You took his hands in yours, wrapping them around your waist. You then hugged his face. Tyler then started shaking, he was crying and saying sorry over and over again. He then pulled back and pulled you to his lap, and hugged you tightly.

"Can you stay?" he asked you.

"Sure." You told him, you sat there for a while holding each other. When it was time for you to go to bed, you took a shirt form Ty, with one of his sweatpants. You changed in the bathroom. When you walked back into the bedroom, T was already in bed, so you joined him. You snuggled up to him and hugged him.

"Thank you." Ty said quietly. "For staying after everything... I love you."

"I love you too Ty."
