You paced the length of the room, limping slightly from the recent session, the witches had made a deal with Marcel and forced and sealed you into your wolf form and in return, they could take some of your blood although they had never divulged their reasons for doing so. You growled as you were ignored yet again. You were an original Hybrid like Klaus, you were an experiment for Esther, she wanted to make sure that the spell wouldn't harm Klaus so she took you from a neighbouring pack and performed the spell on you, you gave her the answer she needed and then you were let go. You later tracked down the Mikaelsons and proved that you were in fact who you said you were and in time became part of the family. You came back years after a fight with Klaus and it turned out that Klaus and Co. had fled and you were face to face with Marcel, the power had gone to his head and with all the werewolves banished from the quarter, he decided to have you as a bodyguard for any vampires that misbehaved and broke his rules. Marcel often used you as a show of power and this was especially true when Klaus showed up again, when he bit Thierry, you were brought into the equation and Klaus was shocked and angered at the condition you were in. "You see Klaus I managed to control one Original Hybrid, now if you don't mind I have a city to run," Marcel muttered cutting into your front leg and placing a cup under the cut to collect some of your blood before giving it to Thierry.
You whimpered lifting your foot from the ground the small traces of wolfsbane stopping you from healing, it was then that Klaus realised that it was you and when his eyes finally met yours he saw everything from your pain to your almost non-existent grip on reality. "(Y/N)? Love? Come on... Let's go." He encouraged gently but you didn't move.
"She can't leave, you see the spell forces her to stay here in wolf form as my slave," Marcel smirked as we watched Klaus become more and more aggravated. That night he left you there but he was coming back for you.

The next time that you'd seen any of the Mikaelsons was when Marcel ordered you look after Davina, while she found out how to kill an Original, eventually she took the dagger out of his chest and Elijah had wormed his way out of a sticky situation, you were again left behind and Marcel had brought you back to the compound for a final attack on Klaus.
"You want to see my secret weapon?" Marcel asked someone as Diego lead you into the room that he was in, as you walked in, Marcel gestured to you, you were heavier on your feet then you'd ever been before, you flung yourself to the floor and you settled in the room, the years that you had spent here taking its toll as well as the minimum blood ration that they had for you. You noticed that it was Rebekah that he was talking about and your eyes widened what had changed for them to be against each other.
"Who's that?" Rebekah asked.
"A wolf that wandered into the quarter," Marcel answered vaguely and due to you look Rebekah wouldn't have thought that it was you.

Klaus showed up later that same day and the fight that commenced was very one sided and that was when Marcel called on you, you padded down the stairs behind Marcel, come to stand behind Rebekah the front half of your body sticking out so that you could see Klaus. Klaus had stopped fighting to look over at you, you snarled at Marcel as he grabbed the nape of your neck and pulled you forward. "Beat him down!" He ordered. When you didn't move a burning pain pushed through your body causing you to fall to the floor, your eyes almost close when you hear Klaus speak again.
"Tell me dearest sister, has he revealed the identity of this wolf to you?" Klaus asked as he walked forward slowly crouching next to you. Rebekah looked between the two before looking down at you, as you whimpered. Klaus placed his hands gently in your fur. "You haven't heard from (Y/N) lately have you?"

Rebekah's eyes widened and she stepped away from Marcel, the other vampires pushed forward and the fight continued until Marcel was pushed to surrender, when that happened the pain subsided and you were able to stand again. Klaus bent down in front of you and smiled his hand in his fur and whispered: "I'm sorry for before, I'm going to fix this." He placed a kiss on your head before standing again as you relaxed and slumped to the floor in the middle of the carnage.

After Klaus had taken back the compound there was a while before he had managed to get the witch Sophie to help you and then a while after that before she found a way to break the spell but that was what lead to you sitting in an oversized jumper looking out of the window of one of the bedroom. You were thinking about revenge but the problem was that Klaus was so close to Marcel, killing him was out of the question, injuring him was a little more of a possibility because he would heal. You turned to the door as it opened and Klaus walked in, you looked back out the window upon realising that there was no threat, he frowned and walked towards you carefully, he was trying to get you to leave the compound with him, you hadn't seen anything outside of those walls (barring the church and the back routes there) since you'd got there. You'd denied the advances thus far and instead settled for listening to everything that had lead to the hate that was bred within the family, you learned of Kol's death and the return of Esther. "How are you feeling love?" Klaus asked sitting opposite you. You shrugged.
"Had worse days." You answered. There was something else that Klaus had noticed about you, you used to be the best at holding a conversation even on that you weren't interested in and now there was nothing but one or two words stored in your mind that universally answered any question that he might have had for you. He considered letting his siblings come and see you and help with your rehabilitation and Elijah had even asked to come and see you, which Klaus had denied but hadn't kept it a secret either. You, on the other hand, felt nothing and had nothing to say in regards to your recent experience or the fact the Klaus wouldn't let his siblings see you. You didn't even go out to feed, instead, Klaus brought you enough for you overfeed but you never did.
"Come on love." he smiled sticking his hand out for you to grab, you looked at him void of emotion before grabbing his hand gently and he pulled you up, walking you out in front of him.
"Where are we going?" You asked.
"I want to show you something," Klaus answered, he lead you through the compound and you ended up in his room, you looked around at the paintings littered around, some looked finished and others weren't but there was one that stood in front of you, it looked like the forest that you grew up in with you pack and when you looked back at Klaus it was clear that this was what he wanted to show you. "I painted this during the time that we were separated, I missed having you around, but I remembered everything that you told me about the place that you grew up and I drew it the way you described it for the day when I found you but now I feel like you further away than ever."
You turned your whole body pushing forward and wrapping your arms around him crying into his shirt "I'm closer than you think." You mumbled into his shirt pushing closer to him.The next time you saw Marcel, you just flung him across the Compound, he squared up to you and you let out a threatening growl that had Klaus running to your location, by the time that he had gotten there you had knocked Marcel to the floor, your foot was firmly placed on his chest "(Y/N), love." Klaus said carefully as he approached. "If you don't mind I still need him." He wrapped his arm around your waist pulling you back into him and away from Marcel. Elijah leads him away. "Are you happy now?"
"Very... Although I wish I had some vervain..." You grumbled.

"God I missed you!" Klaus sighed kissing your temple.
