Request: Omg I never asked for another part of arragment. It was lucien and reader were hooking up but it ended cause she got with kol. Can you make another one, where lucien regrets what he does and wants to apologize but he can't go near her since she's protected by the Mikaelson? He ends up getting her alone somehow cause she was going somewhere reader ignores him but as they argue someone tries to attack and kill reader but lucien saves her life.

After your encounter with Lucien, the Mikaelsons were true to their word they made sure that there was no time that you were alone, most of the time Kol was with you and that made you feel safer. You were worried, to begin with, and you would often find yourself staring into dark corners and wondering if he was still there, the Mikaelsons all noticed the unease in you and tried their best to make you feel settled and now they could see your progress they didn't want anything to pull you backwards, that was why when Lucien came looking for you one day they all did their best to keep him away from you.

You were out with Rebekah when he showed up at the compound "what do you want?" Kol asked, he had watched Lucine walk in, from his place on the balcony.
"Where is she?" Lucien asked.
"Who?" Kol asked as he looked at the man.
"You know who," Lucien answered.
"She wants nothing to do with you, you tried to kill her. Do you expect her to love you after that?" Kol asked.
"I don't expect anything from her, I just want to apologize." He answered, "Then I'll leave."
"I'm not letting you anywhere near her, I promised her that I will keep her safe and that means keeping you away from her," Kol answered. "So you leave or I make you leave."
"I didn't come here for a fight," Lucien said but Kol didn't seem to care.
"It doesn't matter what you came here for, you are not welcome, now I ask you one last time to leave."

When you got back that evening you could tell that something had happened because Kol seemed a little on edge quiet, you could see him looking through the darkness like you used to so you pulled him aside "something is wrong." You said as you pulled him to look at you.
"Nothing is wrong, Darling." He smiled but you could still see that he wasn't fully in the conversation, his eyes still moved around the room waiting for something.
"He was here, wasn't he?" You asked.
"There were a lot of people here today my love you're going to have to be more specific." He muttered and you rolled your eyes.
"Are we really going to do this now?" You asked.
"Do what?" He asked.
"Hide things from me because you think that it's going to break me or scare me." You glared "you can't expect to keep me safe without ever talking about the danger that we face."
"There is nothing to talk about." Kol dismissed you but instead of going around in circles, you rolled your eyes.
"Well, when you want to talk to me properly then come find me." You muttered as you walked towards the family smiling when Bekah turned to you to ask you about one of the dresses that she had bought that day.

Klaus had organized for a small party due to one of his many successes, well success in his view, which was why you were shopping in the first place but now that you had argued with Kol you had no intention of going to the party, that was why you had found yourself sitting in the garden, you should have known that it was a little riskier considering they had so many people going in and out of the house for the party but it wasn't Lucien that appeared in front of you to cause you some kind of harm, in fact, it was a newer friend than that, it was Marcel. "Marcel, what are you doing here?" You asked.
"I was looking for you actually." He smiled. "I was hoping that they would be less vigilant in guarding you, you know how they all like a party, it's the best time to take something from them."
"Take something, I don't have anything that you want." You frowned. "Klaus likes me but not that much."
"Don't worry it's just you that I really want." He smiled "you know, they value you more than you think they do... Why do you think they try so hard to keep you safe?"
"Because I keep Kol in line." You shrugged although at the mention of his name you remembered the reason that you weren't at the party in the first place.
"You think you can do that because he doesn't value you, you keep him in line because he loves you and that is going to be their downfall." He said softly as he reached out for you, you jumped back losing your footing but someone caught you before you fell, recentring you before stepping in front of you.
"Are you okay?" Lucien asked as he glanced at you.
"Yeah." You answered softly.
"Good, how have you managed to get closer to her than I ever have these past few months?" Lucien asked.
"What do you care, just let me take her and I'll make sure she's dead by the morning," Marcel said before stepping forward.
"I haven't been looking for her to kill her, I just wanted to tell her that I'm sorry," Lucien answered.
"Good for you, get out of the way."Marcel tried to get past him but it resulted in a rather violent fight, one that caught the attention of the Mikaelsons inside the house, the first one out was Klaus who got rid of Marcel. Kol was next out and he made his way to you.
"There you are, I was looking for you when you didn't come to the party, are you okay?" He asked, pulling your face to look at him and seeing that there wasn't a scratch on you.
"I told you I only wanted to apologize," Lucien said as he turned away from you both.
"Lucien!" He stopped as you called out to him "thank you for saving me."
"Just fixing a mistake." He waved you off before disappearing.

Later that evening you were sitting in your and Kol's scared bedroom, you were sitting cross-legged on the bed scrolling through your phone when the door opened, you glanced over at Kol as he walked in and sat on the bed next to you. "I think we need to talk." He said.
"I don't have anything to say." You shrugged and he rolled his eyes before taking your phone and tossing it behind you softly before redirecting your focus to him.
"Well I have a lot to say and it starts with I'm sorry, I just remember how scared you were before and I didn't want you to be that scared again and I thought that pretending he wasn't real was the best way to do that." Kol started to explain.
"You didn't think that it would scare me more not to know when he was here?" You asked.
"I know I'm sorry, I just didn't know if I could trust anything he said and I promised that I would keep you safe." He answered. "I try harder, I'll be better."
"I don't need better, I need honesty." You answered and he nodded.
"Honesty." He nodded.
"That's the new arrangement." You agreed, sealing the bed with a kiss.
