Can you make a story about Kai and reader being trapped in the prison world? She hesitates to leave without him when she has a chance and he tries to find out why, but she doesn't get why either. She figures she'll find another way out somehow .

"Malachai Parker, tonight, Lunar Eclipse. Our ticket out of here." I yell as I walk in through the doors of the house I once lived in 40 something years ago before I was banished with my best friend.

"well I can't exactly go." Kai mumbles "what why?" I ask him "I haven't exactly siphoned anything in years, therefore no powers and you know that I can't leave without magic." he mumbles munching on a carrot.

"well remember where Jo hid her powers, it was in some object in your old ghastly house." I narrow my eyes to my best friend, he had been trying to siphon magic for years "besides you know if you can't leave I can't leave. We've been here together for years. I've missed years and years, I'll do it again." I mumble sitting down next to him.

"you can leave without me." he stares at me, I shake my head "far be it from me to cause a problem when you do finally make it out another 45 years later. I'd wait." I clear my throat.

"fine don't leave, but when the lunar eclipse passes do not cry to me." he crosses his legs "fine" I say opening an outdated magazine "fine" he says opening another magazine.

Moments pass of pure silence and I was so sure that a hint of magic was in the air because Kai managed to keep quiet for more than ten minutes before speaking, "why won't you go without me?" he asks turning his head to look at me.

"what?" i respond "you've had so many open doors, so many opportunities to leave me behind. Why haven't you?" he asks staring into my soul.

"don't be weird, i don't know." I say getting weirded out by his genuine concern for me not leaving him behind "I mean it's a genuine question, y/n." he shrugs finally breaking his stare.

"no you're weirding me out, i don't know kai." rushing out of the room.

"I'll find us another way out of here." I mumble reading through the left over grimoire's of Kai's parents.

"there has to be something for you to harness enough magic without siphoning from me." I say flicking through the pages "you think in the 47 years that we've been here, I didn't check through this. Once, twice, a hundred and seventy two times." Kai leant against the doorway.

"Well maybe you didn't read in between the lines, you're smart when it comes to everything except reading." i look back up at him as he looks taken back by what I just said "ouch" he says sarcastically.

"So are you going to confess your undying love for me yet? Is that why you won't leave?" he asks me "No i quite like looking 23 at the age of 64 so maybe thats the reason" I glare at him before flicking through another grimoire.

"y/n." he says as I block out his voice, his muffled voice says my name 7 more times before he touches me bringing me back to the real world. Or this world.

"why is it so important that I leave with you?" he says "Kai leave it alone." I disregard his question "Answer me!" He demands "Or What? You'll kill me with your magic?" I answer him back "No but I can just as easily kill you with the string of your necklace." he retorts.

"You wouldn't kill me Malachai. Not After all we've been through." I roll my eyes "Look We'll find a new way and if that doesn't work then we wait, again and look for your stupid magic otherwise one of us is dying before the other gets out." I point to him.

"and if you don't like that Idea, I don't really care because we are leaving together." I say to him before storming off... once more.

Racing around the house trying to find any answer, any at all to get out of this rotting prison but nothing.

I had never thought about why I wanted Kai to come with me, he was the reason I was in here and although that never occurred to me much. I didn't really care the only thing I thought about was getting us out of here, together.

Together? I didn't know why I wanted both of us to leave, I mean he was a raging psychopathic killer and I was just there to witness it. So I really had no clue as to why I wanted him out too.

"Why can't you just answer me?" he asks "I can't leave without you, alright? get off my back, jeesh Malachai." I raise my arms in disgust stomping my way up the stairs.
