Request: Hi. Can you write a story about how you have feelings for Klaus and Elijah doesn't get it cause he is hung up on some girl that he does not see reader. Elijah does have feelings for reader and everyone knows it except reader. Elijah always fights with Klaus cause when he needs something you are there and Elijah feels he is using reader cause of how she feels for him. Klaus doesn't really know that reader likes him he just thinks Elijah is being dramatic. Reader walks in on them fighting.

***

You and Klaus had known each other for a while you met when you were turned into a vampire, you had lost contact with him for a little while when you were kidnapped, you'd been taken by someone who decided that they wanted to experiment on an immortal, so when Klaus and Elijah actually found you, you were very different to the person that they'd met before. Klaus kept you close after that and you ended up falling for him.

Now you were one of Klaus' most dangerous weapons, you would do anything that he asked without question and while you didn't see a problem with it, Elijah did. Elijah fell for you the same way that you had Klaus and the same way that Klaus didn't seem to realise you, you didn't realise Elijah. Elijah watched as you run back and forth helping Klaus with taking back his city while he swooned over some human that he met in New Orleans.

Klaus had finally taken back his city but he had also lost contact with Rebekah and even though he was sleeping with some witch he met a couple of weeks ago you were still doing your best to keep everything under control for him in the hopes that he would actually get back to being the king he worked so hard to be.

"(Y/N) are you alright?" Elijah asked as he walked into the compound.
"I'm fine." You answered leaning back in your chair. "I assume you are looking for Klaus."
"He's upstairs with the witch?" Elijah guessed and you nodded but before anything else could be said Klaus appeared on the balcony with said witch.
"(Y/N) love, will you go and find something for Genevieve can eat?" He asked, you looked at him for a second and Elijah hoped that you were going to say no but after a while, you got up and you left.
"What was that?" Elijah asked.
"What do you mean?" Klaus asked as he walked down the steps, the witch seemed to have disappeared back to where ever she had appeared from.
"She's not some assistant." Elijah glared.
"What do you care, big brother?" He asked waving him off.
"You're using her." Elijah accused. "Your taking advantage of the feelings that she has for you."
"Elijah you are being dramatic." Klaus dismissed him. "Unless there's something that you aren't telling me..."
"Nothing," Elijah answered attempting to walk away.
"I thought Hayley was the object of your desire brother, or do you move on that quickly?" Klaus teased, Elijah's hands around his throat were not a foreign feeling for either of them but the voice that followed surprised them both.
"What the hell is going on here?" You asked as you walked in dropping the bag of food on the table.
"Nothing just a little family trouble," Klaus answered patting Elijah's wrists before pulling them away from him and walking towards you, he took the bag before pressing a kiss to the side of your head and going back upstairs.
"So are you going to tell me what's going on?" You asked.
"It's as he said family trouble." He answered.
"And I would have believed that if it was Klaus that had his hands around your throat but you're usually not so volatile." You explained, he gave a small smile as he walked towards you taking your chin in his hand and pulling your face to look at him.
"Don't change." He smiled before pressing a kiss to your forehead and leaving you alone with your thoughts, you were more than confused about what you had just walked in on but you knew that there was no way that you were going to find out unless they wanted to tell you. You missed Rebekah for that, she'd tell you everything but she wasn't here anymore so you were going to have to do your own investigating.

While you had vowed to do your own research, it had come up short because neither of them had been around for you to ask, it was almost like Elijah had moved out and Klaus never seemed to leave his room, it was becoming more and more noticeable that there was something wrong and you were getting to the point where you didn't know what to do about it. You found yourself at the bar where Cami was working explaining what you had seen to her. "That doesn't seem out of the ordinally." She shrugged and you nodded.
"Maybe not but it just didn't seem right and neither of them will tell me what it was about." You answered. "They usually tell me if there's something going on."
"Maybe it was about you?" Cami suggested.
"About me?" You asked.
"Maybe they were arguing about you, didn't you say that Elijah wasn't happy with Klaus right? Maybe it's about the way that he treated you." Cami explained.
"Well, Klaus isn't treating me bad." You answered.
"He's had you down here collecting food for his one-night stand." Cami pointed out.
"Uhh what am I going to do." You groaned as your head hit the bar drawing the eyes of a few people.
"(Y/N)?" You head shot up as you looked around the where the voice had come from. Elijah.
"Hey." You smiled "where have you been?"
"I don't much care for my brother's behaviour so I decided to take a break." He answered and you nodded.
"Well, it's not the same not having you around." You admitted, he smiled.
"I'll be back soon." He said, "be careful until I'm back."
"Of course." You nodded and then he was gone again.
"I think I get it now." Cami muttered and you looked at her and frowned.
"What do you mean?" You asked.
"Elijah is angry at Klaus." Cami nodded.
"Yes we know that already." You nodded urging her to continue, when it came down to it you weren't very good at investigating and you were happy that someone else was putting together the clues for you.
"He likes you." Cami answered, rolling her eyes.
"Me? I don't think so, he's into Hayley, remember?" You asked.
"Things change." Cami answered. "Look why don't you try calling Rebekah, maybe she can help you figure this out."
"Maybe." You nodded as you put your hand over the pocket that your phone was in. "Alright I'll let you know if anything happens."

You left the bar and took out your phone, you called Rebekah "Hello?" She asked as she opened the door.
"Rebekah, how are you?" You asked.
"I'm good, what's wrong?" She asked.
"I wanted to ask you something." You said.
"What?" She asked.
"Something happened between Klaus and Elijah." You started.
"What's new?" She asked.
"I think it might be my fault." You added.
"Nothing is ever your fault, you know Klaus looks for reasons to get under Elijah's skin." Rebekah explained.
"And I'm the way he does that?" You asked, your mind when back to what Cami said before you left.
"You really don't know?" She asked. "He didn't say anything?"
"Who Elijah, he hasn't been back for a while." You answered. "I saw him today but he left pretty quickly."
"Mmm, well maybe you should think about how you feel about him." She suggested.
"But you know how I feel about Klaus." You whispered into the phone as if there was someone around that you wanted to hide that from.
"Klaus is no good for you... You and Elijah have always been close, are you sure there's nothing there?" She asked.
"I never really thought about him that way." You mumbled.
"Maybe you should think about it." Rebekah suggested. "Give yourself some time, think about it then talk to them."
