you hadn't been to the movies in awhile. and quite frankly, you didn't really care about going. you hated how crowded the theaters were, not to mention messy.
but when you saw kazuha's message, suddenly the theater became your most favorite place to go. yes, you are the living embodiment of the word simp.
kazuha had volunteered to drive the group there. he had already picked up heizou and tomo by the time he arrived at your apartment. yoimiya had also come to your apartment beforehand so that kazuha wouldn't have to drive to her home as well.
the two of you got in the car and exchanged a brief greeting with the others. the car ride was relatively peaceful before heizou put on one of his playlists. but even if the songs were profusely loud, they were still enjoyable.
you relaxed your head against the car window; lazily watching the trees, houses, and other cars passing by. after closing your eyes for what felt like a few seconds, you heard the car coming to a full stop.
"we're here," kazuha announced as he opened the car door. the others followed suit, along with you.
you stretched your arms after getting out, then followed the group inside. the movie that you all had planned to watch was called "a silent voice." tomo was the one to recommend it as he had already previously watched the film.
as you entered the theater, the others went to go order their snacks. you, wanting to do the same, reached for your purse and that's when a devastating realization had struck.
you had forgotten your purse at your apartment.
the very purse that held your phone and wallet. the very purse that contained all of your money. but you were more so worried about not having your phone rather than the money. oh fuck.
you facepalmed yourself, internally cussing at your dumbass for forgetting something so important. but luckily, you had already bought your ticket earlier and had placed it safely in your pocket. this was able to give you somewhat of a relief.
yoimiya noticed your tense expression and rose a brow. "is something wrong?" she asked you, causing the others to look your way as well.
while holding back a sigh, you smiled at them. "nope, nothing's wrong."
"aren't you going to buy anything?" kazuha added, now raising a brow at you as well. you gulped as you desperately searched for an excuse.
the last thing you wanted right now was for them to know that you were empty handed. there was absolutely no way you'd let kazuha find out how forgetful you are.
