the man stood before you with his gun aimed directly at your face. you kept your arms raised high, saying nothing else as the slightest offensive remark might lead him to shoot.
however, that all changed when somebody else arrived.
your eyes widened as you saw the ashy headed male running towards you. "y/n!"
"wait tomo stop!" you shouted out of desperation, but it wasn't quick enough. the stranger with the gun flinched by the sound of his voice, causing him to press the trigger. a loud gunshot was heard.
you winced as the bullet went through you, but his aim was off, striking you on your arm instead. a pained yelp escaped your mouth as you grabbed your arm.
tomo watched with wide eyes before going for the man. "you fucker," he scowled at him as he tried grabbing his gun.
but the stranger wasn't expecting tomo to randomly appear. and out of panic, he shot again.
you felt your heart drop by the loud popping sound that once again echoed throughout the entire neighborhood.
there was an indescribable vast terror that washed over you as you saw tomo collapsing onto the ground.
past memories flashed through your mind like a film. the day you first met him. the rivalry over kazuha. when he offered you his drink at the movies. going to the amusement park. him insulting cyno for giving you a dying rose. the talk about his ex. all of it came running back.
the officer stood there just as appalled as you were. you wanted to scream but nothing left your mouth.
until reality clicked. using all of your strength, you tried running to him before forcing yourself to stop midway. every fiber in your body shivered from the fear and confusion. he wasn't moving.
and you couldn't hold back the tears once realization had struck. at that moment, you let out the loudest pained yell that you possibly could.

heizou was certain that he was being followed now. it was beginning to bother him so he eventually stopped walking again.
"who is it?" he asked out loud, turning around once more.
then finally, a strange lady with a mask on revealed herself from behind a tree and began running towards him.
"what the—" heizou quickly took a few steps back, before the lady took out a knife. he right away saw it and when he attempted to grab it from her, she managed to strike his lower abdomen, then ran the other way.
