"oh my, it seems like i've arrived at the perfect time."
"who the hell is she?" cyno whispered to tighnari, who only shrugged his shoulders in response.
meanwhile, everyone else pondered the same question. and scaramouche appeared to be the only one who knew the answer.
"why are you here?" he asked her.
yae miko had a huge grin plastered on her face, as if she had been enjoying the whole scene. you all waited in anticipation for her to elaborate.
she then made her way towards the shogun, who had still been holding the weapon in her hand. "what has gotten you so worked up? that grumpy face doesn't look good on you, you know."
the shogun's face dulled and a small frown was threatening to form on her lips. yae miko simply continued smiling. "and put that ridiculous weapon down, you'll make matters worse."
"uh who are you ma'am?" gorou finally asked what everyone had been wondering.
"pardon my manners, i'm yae miko. and you must be the courageous officer that ei told me about," she replied serenely, "may i make a request if you don't mind?"
"what type of request?"
"if i could deal with ei's daughter. of course her crimes will not go unnoticed, but allow me to manage that."
gorou was suspicious of her. so were the others, including you. she had appeared out of nowhere and was now suggesting something so bizarre.
"i'm not permitted to do that," gorou responded briefly. she let out a soft chuckle as she covered her mouth with her hand. you all watched quietly.
"as expected from an officer. however, i am more than capable of handling her. i'd be glad to talk to your superior about it if that'll help satisfy you."
gorou glanced at kazuha, whose face remained nonchalant. it seemed like nobody knew the correct decision.
until, scaramouche spoke. "you can trust her with the shogun, i guess. if anyone can deal with my sister, it's yae."
that was enough reassurance for the young officer, but he remained wary. "are you sure?" scaramouche nodded.
after thinking about it for a bit, gorou eventually accepted. "okay i'll speak to kokomi about it. for now, she'll be in your hands."
